LOL...................nice try. Clottey looked just great against his last opponent so did Ouma. Bring em on. Ignorance is bliss.(sigh)
Are you kidding me? Clottey looked like crap in his last fight. He faded badly down the stretch against a guy who had never stepped up that high in competition before.
So I guess you would have no problem if Mayweather fought Clottey next, right?

lol, i was being sarcastic........Clottey faded and Ouma if im not mistaken lost his last fight against Karmazan, unless he has fought since then.
I could't tell since realistically, Clottey would probably be the second or third best fighter Margarito has faced. That's how sad this guy's competition is. His top two opponents would both be prospects. Why is a world champion still fighting prospects and then trying to call out the P4P #1 fighter in the world?

cuz Floyd said no. pay attention, Mosley said he needed a couple more fights before facing Margarito...he said this last year. Wake up..and smell the roses.

There are better fighters than Clottey who will fight Margarito. Why doesn't he accept the challenges from Winky Wright, Ouma, or even Paul Williams? ****, Collazo isn't fighting nobody either. Why is he picking on prospects?

Why is any boxer obligated to fight someone that calls him out right then? And this is NOT directed at a Mayweather-Margarito debate. Seriously I am asking why does Margarito have to face any of the guys that called him out NOW? Maybe eventually he SHOULD face them just to shut them up. As a fan, I watch boxing and leave the career planning to fighters/managers.
I'm missing your point. Are you saying that because Floyd selects his opponents carefully that his life isn't at risk but Margarito's is? Again I find myself pretty neutral and like both guys but come on man. Zab Judah is at least close in level of opposition to the best opponent Margarito has ever faced so how does Margarito risk his life more than Floyd (as I assume you mean Margarito is the fighter and Floyd is the boxer)? Over the course of his career Floyd clearly has been in with better more dangerous fighters so I am not seeing your point. Recently Floyd has fought ****ty competition especially compared to his early career. I just am not going to call him a ***** for that. I just will be an unhappy boxing fan, but who am I to judge someone else for what they want to do with their career? If he wants to throw his prime career away that is his right.
That says it best "if he wants to throw away the prime of his career that is his right".
"In a way it’s a step back to fight Mitchell, because I’m ranked #1 to fight Margarito for the WBO and I really want a shot to fight him. But I don’t want to sit on ice so we took a step back to fight Mitchell to stay active. I’ve been calling Margarito out for the longest time. He gets on TV and talks how no one wants to fight him, but you never hear him mentioning me, his mandatory defense! I want the chance here and I’ve been in the ring with Margarito sparring."
So I guess Margarito is ducking him since he won't fight the guy who's calling him out, right? Typical Margarito hypocrite...

LOL...read what you just wrote. look at the names go figure out what weightclass they are fighting in...then stick your right arm out open your hand up and slap yourself.

Got no disagreements there.
And I would never claim that Floyd fought the best of the best over the last three years. I just refuse to take the opposite extreme that says he is a ***** who won't fight any good fighter etc. Sure he isn't fighting Margarito right now and 8 million was there, so clearly there is something up. I just don't think its fear. I think it is Floyd being Floyd. ****y, arrogant, and not giving a damn about the fans. He believes he is the king and everybody should work on his schedule... and I really don't like that as a fan. But as a fan I also recognize that he has tremendous skill. Everything in moderation.
