I dont think it was really the weight that was the problem vs rigo fighting once a year for three years at that particular time leading up to the loma fight. The inactivity was the main issue.

Loma and Rigo are just on two different levels.

      Loma is on Canelo's level.

        Explain how ?

I didn't see Loma imposing his size on Rigo at any point of that fight. It was all skills.

Rigo couldn't get anything going offensively and Loma was picking him apart without sitting down on any of his punches. Rigo got frustrated, embarrassed and quit

Height, length, reach. Rigo couldn't get past any of that to begin his offense

YOU'RE BETTER THAN THIS RONNIE SHIELDS!!!

People acting like Lomachenko didn’t jump weight classes too.

            STOP!

As a matter of fact, after he stops Teofimo he’s moving back down also.

Rigo landed 15 punches in 6 rounds. Weight had nothing to do with this and it was rigo talking trash claiming he could move up and beat Loma. Loma was not going to wait around forever so he moved up and eventually rigo agreed to the fight.

Run your mouth(social media) less and punch more.

He’s a prizefighter, he wanted bigger fights, they were ducking him at his weight. He did what he had to do to get the money fight. Boxers are always going to go for the biggest money fight possible. Lomachenko was it.

Also, I like how size had nothing to do with the loss. But the same people probably say Mayweather cherrypicked Marquez and that if JMM was bigger, he’d do better. I bet. It’s just like boxingscene posters to be that backwards.

are you saying he didn't? did loma cherrypick rigo because of the cuban fanbase that he brings with him? floyd saw an easy mark with a mexican fanbase so he took it down. have you looked at the demographics for who watches boxing? its not cubans.
