So nope. They’re not the biggest cheats. Diego chavez fight in a specific way but no way a cheat. Hatton is a pressure fighter who clinches a lot and keeps on coming inside until you fold. That’s not cheating. Dude never even won due to a low blow like wrestling ward.

Guerrero? Nope. Maidana? Aside from his fight with floyd dude fights pretty clean.. he didn’t even butt floyd like ortiz did.. he just fought rough against a great defensive fighter.

Not fans of these guys, but i gotta defend them on these kinds of threads because they’re not one of boxing’s biggest cheats in history.
Can u read.... Go to page 2...my first post! U tripping. U wrote all of that for nothing

"Champion4ever" said name dropped them... Then u said "what did they do... IVs" Then i responded to you that they were all dirty one.

I get it sometimes u can get posts mixed up.

Their fighting styles make them dirty like: Rabbit punching, holding while hitting, constant grappling and clinching, headbutting and wrestling their opponents to the ground etc. You get my drift.

Actually, Panama Lewis did do prison time and was banished from the sport. Antonio Margarito on the other hand, never did any prison time for his infractions.

Yeah and Bob Arum got this guy a payday vs Manny even though it turned into a severe beating.

But they’re not close to being the dirtiest which means roiding peds or having hand wraps.

Ward is even dirtier than them

The guy without the padding in his gloves, whose trainer was Panama Lewis or something. Can’t remember the boxers name now.

I know y'all want a modern example so these guys are my favorite cheaters from modern times:

Kid McCoy - Johnny Reagan - Jack Johnson - Primo - Two Ton Tony - Rocky Marciano - Real Deal - Margarito - Ward - B-Hop

                  ----------------------------------

Kleomedes - He stabbed his opponent, Ikkos, in the heart with his fingers.

The Chesapeake Bay Colony boxers deserve a nod here. I wish I had names for you on file but I don't and it'd be heavy research to find them, but, I can tell you boxing in the early colony, 1600s, had little to no rules and was often impromptu. So, some dirty things became basic go to tactics. Like gouging an eye out with your thumb or castrating your opponent for a KO. So much so that some of America's first felonies, from before America is even a rebellious state let alone free, specifically make certain forms of fighting, like the two i mentioned specifically, illegal with a harsh punishment.

The early English bare knuckle Figg era stuff. All in house like WWE and it's not even debatable today but we pretend like it was a glorious era of honor all the same.

The only man to fight during Figg's era for the HW crown that was not a Figg student fighting another Figg student under figg's rules in figg's venue with figg as the ref, was when a Venetian fought Figg's student Bob Whittaker and quit when Bob started cheating but Figg refused to call the cheat.

Gentleman John Jackson - Won his title by holding the other guy's hair and bribing the ref to not call it.

Jem Ward - A fight fixer who held the championship hostage and while doing so he stole money from his audience and opponents and got a man killed in a botched fix. Ran a gang that also fixed fights and held the title hostage in his stead.

John Morrissey - Leader of the Dead Rabbits gang. His gang and him are responsible for murders across the US. They fixed his fights by way of gunpoint. Men of rival gangs, men who thought they could handle the Rabbits, quite a lot of them ended up murdered. He parlayed his success as HW champion...at gunpoint...into a Senatorial race which would feature ballet boxes held at gunpoint. Morrissey, I think, is the only senator/HW champion. He's also probably one of the dirtiest bastard you could fight too.

The racists during the racist era. Black dudes lose when they start winning....from like 1810s-1930s, Tom Cribb, Sullivan, etc.

Johnny Reagan in the MW title fight against NP Dempsey, kicked Dempsey with his steel cleats, left a four inch gash in Jack's leg. Still got KTFO in one of the greatest stories in boxing history...you should read it.

Kid McCoy was the sort of character to go to a champion acting weak and sickly and like he just needs a payday to retire on and when he gets the fight shows built as a ****house and fit as any fiddle. In exhibitions he used to warn the other man about going too rough and that's it's just an exhibition, then once well placated he'd turn it up on them and go for a KO out of nowhere. McCoy invented the corkscrew punch later popularized by Ali.

Jack Johnson...knocking Burns around like a doll and holding him up so he can't be counted out.

Primo, himself, wasn't dirty, his team bribing refs and opponents to hand him DQ wins and such was though.

Tony and Rock - Both these guys just loved the rabbit punch.

Headbutt Holyfield I don't reckon was an all out cheater so much as a man who liked to skirt the rules. Don't get caught becomes the motto of the new brand of cheat. Was holy roided? Did Holy headbutt on purpose? Was Holy aware of his stage blocking? That's some nice rule skirting that.

Marg- I've had many people try to dissuade me from believing in the wraps. I like to believe in them though. Marg's a real bad guy out to do damage and gives no ****s about human life.

Ward and B-Hop are like Evander, excellent rule skirters. The do overtly cheat sometimes but it's with in the rules overt cheating, stage blocking is a mug when the rules are by what the ref sees....live...without replay...**** yo cup *****. Nuts!

I'll probably think of more in time.

I agree. I hate to speak badly about any fighter because they risk not only their lives but health each and every time they step inside of a boxing ring but that Pac fight should have been stopped. I mean what was he trying to prove? That fight ruined his career. He lost an eye because of his machismo.
