Santa Cruz could have had a Hall of Fame career. Everything was lined up. He could have fought Rigo, Lomachenko, Russel Jr, etc.....and Frampton a 3rd time. Instead he names his kid after Al Haymon and plays it safe for years at a time.

LSC is a bigger joke though cause he’s now got a chance to attain a Henry Armstrong feat by fighting joke opponents going through that route. Even fighting Davis doesn’t mask that. I think and I hope Tank disposes him so that he goes back to SFW and earn his proper stripes in there not that ‘super’ joke belt he’s holding

Had he tackled that route, he would have gotten a couple more loses by now and he’d be close to gatekeeper status by this time. Not a ‘superstar’ that he is being designed to be like now

Oscar is on the verge of making Rigo vs Chicken Cruz and Al swoops in like Batman and grabs Chicken Cruz's contract. Next thing, for the next 3 yrs, Chicken Cruz runs around saying, you don't want to see Rigo vs Me b/c that's boring fight while Rigo is breaking eyes. Hence, Chicken Cruz's style is simply volume and coming head first in the pocket. No, Chicken Cruz don't duck. Of course he will fight 2 times a year if Haymon rewards him with 750k uber driver fights on the undercard
