Beterbiev will destroy him. He's going to be the 175 King for a long time.

I like Bivol more but Beterbiev walks through him.

This would be not only one of the best fights of this year, but recent years. This is #1 vs #2, doesn't get any better than this. Lets find out who's #1 and who's #2. I very slightly favour Bivol by close decision, but man this is a close, mouthwatering match up.

That is a very good fight.

          I pick Bivol.

The problem with Bivol is that he's got one gear. It's a very good gear but once he's in gear he doesn't move out of it. His last 4 guys he's shut out with 119/120 cards which is impressive but honestly guys like Joe Smith, Pascal (remember Pascal throwing double fist punches?), and Castillo Bivol should have knocked out but instead settled into gear and went to decision. I don't think Beterbiev is going to let it go to a decision and he's going to force Bivol to fight outside his comfort zone and that would be foreign territory for Bivol, not good against a power puncher like Beterbiev.

i'm thinking bivol capitulates like gvozdyk in the 2nd half of the fight.

It's been under discussion for a while...Given how Beterbiev walked through Gvozdyk (who is solid and has power) leads me to believe he will eventually break down Bivol

If he hurts you , he’s taking you out
Yeah he’s a killer, he has that finishers instinct. I can never really remember Beterbiev letting someone off the hook, amateur or pro.

Interesting insight, thinking about it I probably agree about Bivol only using the one gear, the only time I’ve ever seen him really take it up a notch was against Sullivan Barrera.
