Put it this way. DAZN has some of the best fighting om a very cheap subscription I'm a country where they pay 70dollers for 1 fight and it's still not working? Not really his fault in my opinion.

This has nothing to do with matchroom. He's using other people's money and to be fair, trying new things.
I'm scottish but that card on Thursday had my interest. Some brilliant fights but why a Thursday I'm Miami? That's a Mexico/California card.

And PS, I'm not a cheerleader f any promotion. It's actually the biggest problem with this sport we concentrate more on tv stations and promoters than actual fights.
    Good post...

Needlejuice was allowed to get away with what is a mandatory 4 yr ban & it was Hearn & his towelboy tony Bellend were defending all uk fighters like Fury while at same breathe was saying Canelos food excuse was bs(despite it being in most mex food;aka they're sheer nationalistic, tribalist matchroom phaggots)
Imo nobody really gets a real punishment for cheating. But some don't get any. Its crazy.

Shut the fuck up and crawl back under your stone.

Juan respect your honesty and opinion. Great to meet knowledgeable people on this site with out an agenda. Unfortunately I do have an agenda and it is to expose the dishonesties of boxing.

I think Hearn's biggest weakness is an inability to delegate. Instead of investing big money in named fighters, the first thing he should have done was pull in an executive that understands the nuances of the American market.

He is flying at 50 thousand feet speculating about the people’s culture below trying to influence them with a charismatic lack of understanding.

The Miami thing seems like it was done to create proximity to the Super Bowl? Problem is no one but the wealthy take two weeks for a Super Bowl trip. There is no holiday unless you are super wealthy. And for the middle class the whole damn thing is costly enough.

In addition he scheduled it at the same time as major concert? WTF? But then the venue he chose was a remarkable fail also. Who holds a fight in a Miami Night Club? I thought DAZN was about to file bankruptcy. Brand was indeed impacted.

As importantly Dazn would be doing alright if they weren’t afraid to match there fighters. Or maybe they spent so much money they can’t afford to match their fighters.

It’s like this... seeing a guy walk down the street is pretty mundane. There is no spectacle there any of us can observe that each day.

In metropolitan areas, we can watch 10’s of thousands of people scamper down the street at various speeds and we choose not to...why because it is boring.

Let’s be honest, for the most part there is nothing risky about that walk. And in America a guy wearing our Flag as he walks adds very little interest.

However put the guy wearing a flag in the hood in Baltimore, New Orleans or St. Louis and now you have a show.

Let a guy walk a tight rope 50 stories up on that same street and now you have a show.

Or watch a guy trying to escape a bank robbery with armed officers in tow... now the world can’t look away.

Eddie has the fighter ingredients but to keep profits safe he is avoiding a key component for fights in the states. In the US we must see the drama.

You can’t just say, see that guy walking a regular route... well one day he will be a guy walking a tight rope 50 stories up. Well Hearn let me know when he is actually up there.

Americans are not moved by foreshadow. Here you have to make the fight. Until Hearn figures out that dynamic DAZN is doomed.

However great to see he is appreciated there with out having to clip the barbed wire of hateful banter. I don’t hate the man just think his ego has run amuck so long he lacks self awareness.

Btw- visited Edinburgh recently, what a beautiful city. Want to see more of Scotland.

Tbh all promoters are the same. They just say what suits them on any day

But Miller is a special case with the amount of drugs he was doing and he didn't get punished properly.

He's right. It's a bad look since AJ is his man. They'll probably work together in future though, and people will jump on the 'hypocrite' bandwagon even though it wouldn't be against what he's said all along.

Classic Hearn!... double, triple, quadruple standards and cheap rhetorics. I think George Orwell had him in mind when he wrote 1984. Newspeak baby!

There is no comparison between that and what Jarrell Miller did.
Exactly! Miller was a walking pharmacy and all the guys he punched while on PEDS which goes back to even his kickboxing days - he should be banned from the sport forever for attempted manslaughter on multiple occasions.

Your interpretation of the UK is way off lol. England is pretty hard on itself, far from being this overly patriotic, flag and anthem worshipping island that many other countries are.

Granted, the culture loves supporting a brit abroad as an excuse to travel, binge drink and basically be a pain in the ass lol.
