I’d like to see Fury win, too, because I’ve finally become convinced he should’ve gotten the nod in the first fight. I use to think Wilder won a couple rounds or so besides the KD rounds to make a draw feasible ... now I think Fury won all rounds but the KD rounds. Should have gotten the decision. Hope he gets the win.
Ok..... sorry...... sometimes I get animated and expect others to know what I know.......... (I am watching every Fury and Wider interview, press conference, and have followed Fury for nearly 10 years)

My position is biased...... yes...... but I look at Fury now and see a guy that has sorted out his problems and is in fight-mode........ he is in-shape.

If Fury gets KO'd then I can't make excuses or wriggle out of commnets I have made.

Fury is looking the best I have seen him in over a decade of following him.

      No worries, I get it

No shame in getting behind him, it’s a great story and I hope he has a great second half to his career... and more importantly I hope he lives out a long healthy life and stays out of the rut he was in for a few years.

What you said there makes me give you, as a person, massive respect.

Not many people on this forum even go that deep and are willing to wish fighters good health ..... or any of that.

I can tell you are a good guy just from that post..... it doesn't go unnoticed

          Thanks for the kind words...

I’ve always really liked boxing as both my grandfathers were involved in it. On one side, I had a grandpa who was a country ‘Murican boy who could really stick and move, and even won some accolades at the amateur level from what my dad tells me. I never met him as he died before I was born, but I sure am proud. On the other side, my grandpa was a tough, mixed-race Latino street fighter who worked as a physio for small-name boxers in Las Vegas back in the day. He loved boxing, especially anything involving Muhammad Ali. We were close. So even though I’m more of a nerd type than tough guy or fighter, boxing is definitely in my blood. I feel the beauty of the sport in every punch, in every step, feint, and parry. It’s like a ballet at its highest level — a thing of beauty that has spanned generations and linked us to our pasts.

Although banter is one thing, it really annoys me how often these discussions degenerate into rage, division, racism and the like. Boxing deserves better, in my humble opinion.

So I do my best to live out the kind of respect for boxing, and boxers, that I feel is deserved.

          Take care, friend.

Thanks for telling me that my friend.......you obviously have boxing in your blood and no one can take that away........ my grandfather got me into boxing but its a long story.

none of my grandparents had any glory or notoriety that is provable...... both my grandparents were born in the mid-30's.... were children during WW2.

But.... my grandfather done national service...... boxed to a very high level within the military....... my gran told me he boxed for years without losing and thought he was unbeatable..... got paired with another high-level boxer from the US.... and got his ass handed to him in front of his future wife, friends etc..... got his nose broken badly and his face pummelled..... he never fought again after suffering that beating......

My grandfather never told me about that, my gran told me about that after he died. About his defeat to a US boxer in the military and how he never got over it

I grew up thinking my grandfather was the best man I knew..... but he never got over a defeat, couldnt live with it....... boxing lol it's why I love it.

Look at the fat Fury was carrying in the first fight (lol), you can see it rippling in the slow-mo..... he was carrying over a stone of fat! hahahaha

Wilder is not fighting a fat Fury, a Fury that has been out the ring for years........ he's fighting an in-shape and active Fury....

                      .... He's ****ed.
Fury came so close to beating Wilder last time, and he's got to be in better shape now, both physically and mentally, knowing that he still has the stamina to go 12 hard rounds.

Logically, he should be a big favourite this time around, but Wilder fans don't do logic, lol.

The only worries I have are about the change in head coach. With Davison guiding him, all Tyson had to do was not get KD in the last round and he would have won. It looks like he and Javon are looking to be more aggressive this time. I just hope he doesn't get caught betwixt and between 2 different styles and make mistakes. He can't afford mistakes against Wilder.
