Money vs Pac-Man: Who really won?

3 good rounds and he lost all of them against a guy who is a slow starter. Proving if the excuse is true he still wasn't good enough. Thanks. He did say he started to feel worst in the fourth round. He also said they felt good enough to go through with the fight because he was getting better. But the injury happen 3 weeks prior to the fight. As the fight went on it got worst. so he really only had 3 good rounds to give, thanks for clearing that up

Thats not true. Mayweater was retired when he won this decade dummy.
Stop trying. Youre talking yourself into a corner yet again.
So he retired meaning Manny won yet retired again and won it. According to your ignorant logic.
Foot in mouth. Own it. Ill respect you more if you doComment

Mayweather retired, which bumped Pacquiao to #1 P4P and he got the DLH fight. That's when the hype started which is why he won the FOTD. If Mayweather did not retire none of that would have happened.Thats not true. Mayweater was retired when he won this decade dummy.

The whole process of perception and cognition just ain't as strightfoward as people often think. We all quite literally see the world differently to each other... notice the details that conform to and confirm our own narrative and beliefs and dismiss those that don't. I think we all understand the rationalisation process that goes on afterwards, but actually much of the filtering is subconciously applied during the perceptual process. Like I say this isn't someone being dumb or ****** or whatever it's literally someone seeing what their mind wants to see... and we all do it to a greater or lesser extent, pretty much proportionately to how much emotional investment we've got in an event or outcome.
Really the people that can be trusted best on this kinda **** are those who really don't care or are entirely disinterested, but it's hard to find enthusiasts of a sport like this who know enough to score but yet ain't got some feelings one way or another. Hell, even judges often have an interest one way or another... they know which outcomes gonna get 'em the best gigs in the future even if they don't care about the fighters.
Anyways... just a bit of a ramble. This is why I don't even bother arguing with folk over scores any more, it's an absolute exrecise in futility. You can't make someone disbelieve in what they've seen with their own eyes, and efforts to do so will result in rationalisation and increasing intransigence.Last edited by Citizen Koba; 02-03-2020, 03:03 AM.Comment

If Mayweather did not retire Pacquiao would not have been #1, would not have had the DLH fight and would not have had the hype that won him FOTD. Mayweather made Pacquiao a star by retiring. You should thank Floyd.Comment
