Ryan Burnett is arguably a better win for Nonito than old Guillermo Rigo is for Lomachenko, as Guillermo Rigondeaux jumped up two divisions to face Lomachenko.

In contrast: Nonito went down two weight divisions to join the WBSS bantamweight tournament ( way past his prime ) to face the former unified IBF-WBA bantamweight champion at his weight.

Its important to note the Odds for Ryan Burnett vs. Nonito Donaire: Burnett -950 (bet $950 to win $100), Donaire +575 (bet $100 to win $575). So Nonito was clearly was the massive underdog. Now can someone please provide the betting odds for Vasily Lomachenko vs. Guillermo Rigondeaux?

I just wanted to add my two cents...OH! By the way, Nonito actually fought clean vs. Ryan Burnett, regrettably I cant say the same for Vasily Lomachenko.

They're going to open a new category for Loma. He made it look easy category. All the fighters that struggled and went to war, who didn't go into fights the betting favorite, who had to overcome adversity. They don't count. Salido is ahead of Loma by miles if real achievements are measured.

Loma was favored by -350 which is about an 80% chance of winning.

I also think it would be interesting to see fighters scores on a per fight basis. For example Danny Garcia earned 37 points and had 22 fights this decade.

So his average fight this decade earned him 1.68 points. It doesn't paint a complete picture that way, but I think it provides some perspective.

100%, Orlando Salido should of been crowned the WBO Superfeather-weight champion vs. Rocky Martinez II. Vasily would of had to fight Siri one more time given that he ( Loma ) would of been granted a immediate shot at the WBO, as Vasily was the WBO featherweight champ moving up.

Bob Arum knew this and I suspect that he rigged the scores so that Lomachenko would get a crack at Martinez and another title at his second weight.

You gave me a great idea, the boxingscene should write an article titled ' How Bob Arum made it look easy. '

So Ryan Burnett is a more significant win for Nonito Donaire ; I knew I was on the money.

The only fights scored were those against fighters rated going into the fight by Ring or TBRB. The total record for the decade is just for reference.

Surprised to see a guy that spent over a year as P4P #1 at #11.

Another was at 17. As noted, this is just one angle to look at the decade from. It's not church on the matter by any stretch.

I know, but I think doing it per total fights give you a picture of what the fighters average fight was during the decade.

The only fights not scored are wins over non top 10 opponents (the alleged bums). By taking them into account, essentially what I am proposing, you diminish a fighters average for fighting those opponents.
