For making a Joshua vs Wilder fight, it's not AJ and Wilder that will sit together and make that fight. It is Hearn+Haymon + all the networks involved. Just like Fox and ESPN are coming together to make Wilder vs Fury.

In that case, it will probably be Fox+DAZN +BT/SKY in addition to some Saudi money. Thing is, a fighter cannot go for a short term deal if it harms his long term relationship with promoters/networks. Otherwise, he won't find anything when he comes back from the short term deal and would be frozen out.

It’s interesting ,Lou was one of the guys that said BT sports wanted to split the network PPV in the U.K and was behind that Wilder 50 million offer which he said wasnt possible and contradictory statements in an interview last year . All these guys know what going on ,Lou just happens to be genuine and has really exposed them again but all,of them have gotten paid to lie for Wilder .

You mean Showtime in general or Showtime/PBC? You know Showtime wasn’t only Al before PBC. Everything is business. There can be non disclosed settlements between Haymon Sports and the WBO to progress future relationships considering PBC is doing poor vs its competitor in DAZN. Since the boxer’s team/mgmt has to go thru Al and the WBO for ranking considerations, or rather, what’s the priority of Castaño caring? Is it because it’s on DAZN? As matter of fact wasn’t Swift Garcia added to the ranks recently? I’m sure Haymon payed, compensated, resoluted with the WBO for rankings. Unless a simple hand shake was sufficient and no money?

In regards to your first question. Nothing I have never negotiated any kind of lucrative deal. Anyway I know a lucrative deal when I see one; which is exactly what DAZN offered Wilder. Aka career high purses for a tune up then the biggest fight in the sport with a rematch.

Regarding your second question. When a network offers vastly more than a fighter's market value the strategy is to sign the contract.

Really Dibella doing that helped Wilder out because he got to see a number from a rival competing for his services. That forced the people paying him now to step up and pay him more which they did. I'm sure it pissed them off so they fired Dibella.
