If Jacobs got 15 million to fight Canelo, that's the minimum Charlo should accept. It's not about who has the better resume. It's about which fight is a bigger deal. Jacobs already had losses, whereas Charlo would be selling his 0. You have to pay a premium for that. Jacobs also didn't cross the street. If you're trying to get one of PBC's A-sides to cross the street and sell his 0, you have to pay a premium for that. $10 million is a ridiculous offer. Kovalev got $12 million, had lost several recent fights, and wasn't one of the big PBC or ESPN stars.

Charlo is not the boxer Jacobs is . he might hit harder but he is not as athletic as Jacobs and more basic 1,2 puncher. . Canelo schools him big time.

Jermall Charlo has a bigger fan base than Danny Jacobs and more people have watched Jermall Charlo fight than have watched Danny Jacobs fight. By any reasonable metric, Charlo is the more recognizable name.

Jacobs had at least been on PPV with Golovkin, Kovalev had been on PPV with Ward twice

All of those PPVs flopped. I would argue that Kovalev has more name recognition than Charlo, but at this point in his career, Kovalev brings less to the table than Charlo does.

If nobody cared about it, we wouldn't have so many threads about Charlo. Golden Boy and Matchroom wouldn't be making large offers to Charlo. Charlo wouldn't be such a hot topic of conversation.

Charlos career is gonna be dry then im a charlo fan . i always felt he gives canelo problems . however hes the b side to this . the guy has no leverage. Canelo won't fight him until charlo agrees to those terms

charlo is most def the b-side...no one ever said he wasnt...which is why he would be receiving the b-side money in a canelo fight....but just because hes the b-side doesnt mean he should take less than jacobs got..especially when he has to cross over to fight on DAZN....
