The best coach ever alongside Eddie Futch IMO.

Manny was excellent at refining fighters. I remember watching an interview where he talked about fighters being like pieces of clay in the sense that you have to mould them, but at the same time not completely change them.

I think that’s what Wilder needs, he has a style that clearly works for him but it could be refined and made more efficient. A more accurate and efficient Wilder would be SCARY.

Ive never seen a champion go such out of his way to get the easier fights over the other ,respect is earned not demanded and a big reason many cant stand him as the self proclaimed greatest . .

          A little reminder here ………..

Got the WBC to bring him to champion status, he fought Malik Scott ranked 20/25 at the time for final elimination bout. Clearly a dive fight and not the only one either.

Took the Szpilka fight after Jennings defeated him .

Took the Arreola fight to test his hand and tried getting that Polish fighter War something ? Arreola hadn't won in a awhile and gave him 3 weeks notice . lol

Took the Washington fight and the WBC bumped him from ranked 27 to 10 to justify it in fighting 18 fights and no real reason to fight him other than he is a nice guy as the reason ?

Took a fight with Ortiz after he found out he was older ( he admitted that in the post presser so don't tell me he didn't ) and medical issues over a younger whyte for 7 million . Add insult to injury here ,waited a year again knowing Ortiz looked like shyte since and offered him that rematch .

Took the Fury fight after being told he wasn't ready and skipped Breazeale who was next to try and pick up a better win .

WAS OFFERED UNDISPUTED AND DID NOT WANT ANY PART OF IT .
