PBC recognizes the WBO now. Why is Charlo ducking a WBO unification?

My main point is that guys like this one can't use excuses like this one anymore:

We knew that someday the PBC would eventually recognize the WBO as a legitimate sanctioning body. It was just a matter of time because Spence and Crawford are tentatively scheduled to fight soon for the Undisputed welterweight crown.

In addition, there was buzz of Crawford potentially fighting Shawn Porter who is another PBC fighter too and then there is Danny Garcia who is likewise a tentatively scheduled PBC fighter and a #1 contender vying for Terence Crawford's WBO title belt as well.

        PBC don’t recognise the WBO?

They must really struggle competing for influence with Arum if they simply quit trying

Arum won’t stop recognising the WBA even though they are sickening lenient towards PBC fighters

Odd decision really, because it highlights a weakness. Only a fool is going to pretend that the PBC are acting this way to protect the integrity of the sport

Charlo should take that $7 million offer to unify with Andrade on DAZN, then.

          No reason not to.

I agree. It's his choice. That decision is left entirely up to him.

              The PBC rep has spoken.

He changed his tune from the WBO being a minor belt that doesn't matter...to now Al Haymon is a genius who is playing chess by starting to get his clutches on the WBO belt.

I haven't changed anything. I personally don't recognize the WBO. Never have and never will. I've made it clear, over and over, that Fox doesn't recognize the WBO, but Showtime does. When a PBC fighter has the WBO title, Fox doesn't recognize it, but Showtime does. That hasn't changed.

What's changed is that clearly there has been some sort of break through in the battle between PBC and the WBO that suddenly PBC fighters, out of nowhere, have been installed as the #1 contenders at both welterweight and junior middleweight, PBC's most important weight divisions.

Charlo is on video saying he wants Andrade,
yet he's not willing to cross the street for the fight.

He's also not sending any offers to come to PBC.
Really don't know what this guy wants.

Great, maybe Charlo will grow some balls and unify with Andrade now. For a career high purse.
