Is Andrade offering to go to Fox or Showtime for the fight? Or is Andrade, the clear B-side, asking the clear A-side to cross the street to fight on the B-side's platform? If that is what Andrade is asking, it's not a serious offer because no A-side in the universe would agree to that.
PBC recognizes the WBO now. Why is Charlo ducking a WBO unification?

For that kind of money you pretty much throw the A-side and B-side nonsense out the window.
Then again Charlo appears to have turned down $12 million to fight Canelo so apparently he is just a dumb motherf*cker all around.Comment

Charlo is already making $5 million without having to cross the street and risk getting screwed. He's being lined up for a fight where he'll make $7 million and be given a fair shake. Makes no sense to go to DAZN to face a B-side.Comment

Where are you getting that he earns $5 million? Do you have a link to an article or anything else, so that we can see for ourselves if that is true?Comment

I know what the license fees are, I can estimate what the overseas rights are based on a percentage of the domestic fee, the gate is public knowledge, and I know what percentage of the overall pot most of the top PBC stars are making.Comment

So no link. Just take your word for it?Comment

I couldn't care less whether you take my word for it or not. You will believe whatever fits your agenda. If you want to believe filed purses are legit. Go ahead. Even though fighter after fighter has publicly confirmed they're bogus. Even though the head of Showtime has confirmed they're bogus. Etc.Comment

I've seen you ask others for links yet you never see fit to provide any of your own. Interesting. Whatever serves your agenda I guess.I couldn't care less whether you take my word for it or not. Jermall Charlo got 275,000 viewers for his last fight on Showtime vs Dennis Hogan. If he is really getting $5 million per fight then his value is being artificially inflated and he is getting massively overpaid.Last edited by ShoulderRoll; 01-26-2020, 09:54 PM.Comment

I asked a troll to post a link to an article he mentioned, because I knew he was lying about what was in the article.
If you read my posts at all, you'd know I've already explained that Fox and Showtime pay around $6 million per event as a license fee. Add in the live gate, international TV, sponsorships, etc and the Charlo/Tank level guys are making around $5 million when they headline.
Thank you for your uneducated, inexperienced amateur opinion about whether he's being overpaid. He's being offered $7 million right now, so that's interesting that you think $5 million is too much.Jermall Charlo got 275,000 viewers for his last fight on Showtime vs Dennis Hogan.
