Yeah I give Brook a pass on both those fights. Have you seen the surgery pics and how they had to fix his eye socket???? Damn it was hard to look atComment

yeah, i give Brook a pass on both also. First, he was ballsy to take either of those fights. And he didn't just show up to collect a paycheck. He was genuinely trying to win both fights. He was just over matched.Comment

Great question. Personally I like the refs who say something along the lines of "I need you to show me something". Then it's up to the fighter to do so and if he doesn't, i can't blame the ref for stopping it because he gave the fighter a chance. To me the more important question is bad vs good stoppages. When a fighter quits he quits. That doesn't change anything. If a fighter decided the fight is not worth fighting any longer, he is not likely to rally to win it. Fighters who think they stand a chance don't quit. So when a fighter quits, the only thing it does is rob the fans of a couple more rounds of the same thing. Not so with bad stoppages. They rob the fighter of a chance, but the price to pay for giving him that chance is accidentally letting the fighter be killed... where is the line there??Comment

Yup! He fought two bigger guys who were ranked P4P #1 and P4P Top #5
The ggg fight I felt was beyond ****** but like you said he came to fight! And was pretty even on the scorecardsComment

probably one of the worst business decisions I've seen for a fighter. I also think Rosado passing up a 154 pound title shot vs k9 bundrage to move up and face ggg at mw was ******. Ballsy, but I think he could've at least won a world title if he faced k9 instead. Now he's titleless for his career. A decision I flip flop on was what happened with vargas vs Trinidad. On 1 end he was too young but on the other end he fought campas, winky and quartey before facing Trinidad. That's pretty good comp. Although he lost, he gets eternal props for the way he fought. But I always wonder what his career would've been had he not taken that fight.Comment

Boring ass mailbag. Breadman chose not to answer the vast amount of questions on Jrock’s loss. So much for asking the trainer why they lost. Bread be like, “its not my fault doe, I wasn’t wearing gloves against Rosario!”Comment
