Fury has been known as a good inside fighter for years.... in his early days he used to get into wars inside..... he has learned it, it's in his locker.
Just look at his last fight where he was blinded in one eye, went inside, won every round in a stinker, but still won.
You don't know Fury if you don't think he is one of THE best inside fighters at HW.Comment

Also.... Wilder has never shown he can tough it out or fight inside in a fight.
Certainly not the Duwho?pas fight..... you are talking **** and think people don't even remember or cwill rewatch that fight (why would they?).
No inside fighting from Wilder in that fight..... you can post footage to counter.... tying up doesn't count.Comment

Did he not weather a storm in Ortiz 1. Did he not stay committed and focused versus Fury? Further this is an excerpt from Bleacher Report "Unfortunately for the Frenchman, it was a round he would probably like to forget. Wilder got in close and landed several huge uppercuts in an extended flurry on the ropes, looking like a freight train powering through tissue paper".Also.... Wilder has never shown he can tough it out or fight inside in a fight.

Actually, sections of that fight had something that looked like inside fighting, but it was a total joke, a mockery of the term. Honestly, I felt embarrassed merely looking at it.Also.... Wilder has never shown he can tough it out or fight inside in a fight.

Regardless of the trainer, if Tyson doesn't get Wilder's respect early and doesn't manage to back him up and fight a much more aggressive fight he's gonna give Wlder the space and time to set up his big right hand.
No need to be cute against a one handed crude wild guy like Wilder, fight the man and test his chin while being defensively responsible. I think Tyson realizes that and Ben probably wanted to fight the same type of fight again which isn't bad but it only gives Fury a 50% chance, with Tyson's skills utilized well and him fighting the right fight he has at least a 75% chance.
Money is probably also a huge factor but i'm not gonna get into that.Comment

Wilder isn't stronger than fury on the inside, hell he isn't stronger there than most Heavyweights. He doesn't have an inside game. He only has one thing going and we all know what that is.
I don't care how soft Fury's punches people say are, they bothered and stopped Wilder in his tracks at least two times from what I recall. If Fury is more aggressive this time around and fights Wilder in close distance he'll knock him outLast edited by Szef; 01-25-2020, 02:35 AM.Comment

All three are much smaller than Fury, but ok. I'm not saying Fury can't fight on the inside, just that he isn't considered one of the best inside fighters in the game as Vinny indicated.Comment
