Well go. Even with long marination, we still get the fights we want. Stop watching, if it pains you to see fighters act rational and get paid as much as they can. Respect and honor alone will not be able to take care of their descendants.

Stop watching. Stick NFL and NBA. The best plays the best every season.

These guys all just think they are future hofer's already . They need to stop drinking the koolaid . What happened to the real fighters ?? Seems these days we just have guys whining holding their irrelevant straps .
Bro, guys back then fought for far less in comparison. It's a completely different breed of animal, these sort of people would get chewed up and eaten alive by the likes of Ray Robinson. The weak mentality is just far too evident, a fighter nowadays gets a loss and suddenly we act like that's his career all over?

Boxers by all means, right now they're living in a privileged era of the sport. Boxers have fans shilling for them and the funny part is those fans are the ones who suffer because they have to wait years to finally see a certain fighter finally have a competitive fight.

Here steps in Andrade, offered hundreds of thousands of dollars for one fight in the year and it isn't enough for him... is it starting to make sense now.

If the money isn't good enough for him, maybe he is in the wrong sport. People legitimately put their neck on the line to defend the country for far less, but I will have to hear people tell me, "Oh, but boxing is a damaging sport!". What a joke, its a choice.
Nothing"flew over my head."You just said a whole lot of nothing and and didn't answer the question.

When did prize fighters not care about money? I don't expect you to answer it. But you can save yourself some time by not responding with BS about the average US salary. It doesn't have a damn thing to do with this.

Agreed my man , which brings up an interesting question . Which top fighters today are throw back ?? It seems easy to answer of the dome but it isnt . Seems journeymen are the only real fighters left not held back by politics or money .

              This.

Anyone who has supported Wilder when he turned down the $100m and $120m offers from dazn can really have no criticism of Andrade. Reasoning for wilder turning down was it wasn’t enough money, in this case it is much more extremely obvious because Andrade wasn’t even being offered life changing money (nothing to be sniffed at of course either). He is earning I guess 3-4 times that amount for warm-up fights under Eddie Hearn now

Poorly Advised and Poorly managed which is unfortunate because Andrade is a gifted fighter

Lucky for them Eddie Hearn and his DAZN US situation basically saved them. So I don't blame them for Re-Signing that is the right move because I doubt Top Rank or DAZN would be all that interested because of situations in the past

I been also saying that I don't think Andrade cares about not getting GGG or Canelo or Charlo, he is totally fine beating on guys like Keebler for Easy Money

“I mean, $250,000 for Charlo is ridiculous. That’s what they offered, but we did not ask to make the fight or look to make the fight. We waited until the last minute for them to come back with a better offer but it just didn’t happen.”

Pelullo partially disputed Paul Andrade’s account, saying that the boxer, through his manager, Ed Farris, was offered an amount higher than $250,000. Showtime offered Andrade $500,000, according to a source familiar with the purse numbers.

2014...career high money for andrade...500k...his dad pulls him out of a fight with like 3 weeks to go....lies and says they were shorted money....promoter says the offer was upped...it was reported to be double what andrades father claimed was the top offer.....

                      hmmmmmm
Andrade Ward received his Rocnation deal. Broner was offered 8 fights for $40 mil. Thurman was offered 3 fights for $8.5. Rocation offered Andrade around 2 mil for 3 fights and reneged on the deal. 1st offer was Andrade 200k, Jermell 500 k on undercard. Andrade was offered an increase but definitely not 500k. That was Charlo's purse. I would have taken the Rocnation offer with all the other offers floating around. That's like telling him now to pass on 4 mil a pop from DAZN to go and fight on PBC 1 time a year for 1/8th the money. Anyway, everyone is on track now, so Andrade and Jermall can fight. Ops, Ronnie said Andrade is a nobody for an unification and 7 mil is slave money like the morons over at LDBC like to say. Rocnation saved Jermell. He was in no way shape or form prepared for Andrade back than.
