Golovkin beat Jacobs too, and thats my point. It was all going to be so different, but Canelo fought a domestic level guy, then a guy who Golovkin beat, then an old faded guy. Take a Smith or a Saunders or a Charlo or an Andrade. You know what they all got in common? Proven young and hungry. Golovkin is gone. Canelo is doing the same things. Missing out on the young fast guys to face older faded names,or young guys who never had a win in world class.

Dont get emotional like a little girl, the truth hurts because he's missed out on all the guys you said Golovkin ducked. He's fought a guy Golovkin fought, a domestic fighter and an old faded, twice stopped nearly stopped by British level novice in Yarde, Kovalev. That's all it is. I'm not the hypocrite, I'm the one who said I'd have liked Golovkin to have fought Ward, Degale, Charlo, Saunders ect. He didnt and I can critique him for that. You cant do the same to Canelo because you're emotionally involved with him instead of liking the sport.

I wanna see Canelo, the guy who's in hes prime, fight other young guys who are in their prime and see who's the best. That's what boxing is meant to be, the best fights, the most intriguing, among the people in form. Golovkin isn't what he was, I thought he won fight one, and he aint getting any better, he's slowing down clearly. So yeah, i wanna see the best fights, not Mike Tyson Larry Holmes.

Definitely would be warranted . GGG hasn’t looked great however in last few fights .

OK he's only 29 so it should be easy for him to cut weight and fight at JM like you wanted Golovkin to do. After all he's the smaller man between them as you keep claiming. Right??. Following the game plan you had mapped out for Golovkin. 154 to 168 should be EZ for Canelo. Great we can look forward to close competitive fights in between Canelo and all the top young hungry fighters in three divisions. Apparently the Charlo fight isn't happening so that one will have to wait. LOL.

I remember you wanting to bet me that Canelo would score a knockdown against Jacobs. You should save your money and save up for some happy pills. We'll see if he fights any of them, but now it looks like Murata. Bet you been looking forward to that with bated breath, not.. 🙄

Imo , he looks like he’s on his last leg and maybe should be considering retirement
I think financially he is stable and won’t be able to prove much more at this point
I can’t argue with that. I don’t like to see any fighter take more punishment than they need to. But if he’s going to continue fighting, which most of them do, then he needs to make a splash. It will be a gamble of course. But if the Canelo fights are a cloud hanging over him, and he can’t get a Canelo trilogy then he needs to take a fight that will impress people just by taking it. He could fight a scrub but that’s still someone prolly taking punishment for nothing. At least if GGG stepped up it would be worth the effort even if he lost. Maybe that’d get him to retire. He could fight lesser fighters for a while, the punishment piling up on both sides, for little value in any aspect.
