  • Comments Thread For: Naoya Inoue's Top Rank Debut Versus Casimero; Likely 4/25 In Vegas

Naoya Inoue's Top Rank debut is all but set. BoxingScene.com has learned that the unbeaten IBF/WBA bantamweight champion is going to box WBO 118-pound champ Johnriel Casimero in a title unification fight April 25 in Las Vegas. Inoue's first fight with Bob Arum's Top Rank Inc. likely will be televised live on ESPN, but it's still possible it'll be offered on ESPN+, the network's $5-per-month streaming service.

      U.S. debut?

Inoue already fought once in the U.S., I was there.

Edit: Oh wait, first fight with Top Rank, Arum will lie about anything to promote his fighter.

REAL world title fight! These guys are #1 and #2 at TBRB.

        Titles on the line:
        WBA (Super)
        IBF
        WBO
        The Ring
        vacant lineal

With Oubaali defending against Donaire, hopefully we get Donaire vs Inoue II for all the marbles at the end of the year.

I have this weird gut feeling that casimero is going to hurt inoune bad , and I dont know why. I would never make this pick but my gut is saying something to me . Inoune should do his thing and do it well but I have this feeling and I dont know why .
