  • So was it really Haymon or DiBella that advised Devry not to take the Canelo fight and instead with GGG? You know, that “financial advisor” and consistency for avoiding offers. We’re our own bosses doe!

Can't wait to see how Henning, MCC and WBC spin this:

      "Haymon has a plan"

"Why are DAZN trying to make fights with fighters from PBC when they can't even make fights between their own fighters"

"He didn't say how much it was, Charlo gets more back end money than that"
Sure just go ahead & believe Oscar ONLY when it fits YOUR narratives....You dudes are so fake.

“I’ve worked with all promoters, I really have,” De La Hoya said. “It is difficult, but it’s possible. I’ve worked with promoters. The one promoter I haven’t, or the one agent or whatever he is, PBC [run by Haymon]. It’s been difficult, but I don’t think – it’s hopefully not impossible."

How many have you sued in court? How many have you lost to in court?

Judge dismisses Golden Boy lawsuit against PBC creator Al Haymon

A federal judge on Thursday dismissed Golden Boy Promotions' $300 million lawsuit against Premier Boxing Champions creator Al Haymon and his various business en******, which alleged they repeatedly violated antitrust laws and the Muhammad Ali Boxing Reform Act in an attempt to monopolize boxing.

The case never got to trial as U.S. District Judge John F. Walter of the Court of Central California granted Haymon's motion for summary judgment, ending the lawsuit that Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions, once with close ties to Haymon before a bitter falling out, filed in May 2015.

"The court concludes that plaintiffs have failed to demonstrate that there is a genuine issue of material fact as to any of their federal claims for relief," Walter wrote in a 24-page ruling, a copy of which was obtained by ESPN.

Oscar De La Hoya urges fans to boycott Mayweather-McGregor

"Oscar makes perfectly valid points in this post. Mayweather-McGregor is a farce. It is a circus. It is entirely about money, and nobody involved is pretending that it’s not. De La Hoya really has a groove going in this open letter, as he rallies us to defend the noble sport of boxing against ridiculous cash-out ideas that will not be competitive fights and will, in the end, be an insult to the paying public, who will drop upwards of $99.95 on pay-per-view for the event.

And here’s Oscar last December saying McGregor should fight Canelo Alvarez..."

You wasn't saying THAT with pvssy-g

Fighters only want Canelo if they get like 5-10x what they're worth,it would likely pss off Canelo more if dlh releases the offer,Deryev was demanding Jacobs money last yr for this reason since he knew 1st hand from virgil hunter that Jacobs made bank(Jacobs is a MUCH BIGGER star than Charlo/Deryev combined)

Why doesn't Charlo say what the offer was for,& why has he been keeping it a secret all thus time while crying hes being ducked?
Nelo mad that golden boy trying to get the negotiations with pvssy-g (who he doesn't want to fight) & the fact that they couldn't get the D-Chenko fight done that lost his title. Nelo welcomes a Jermall Charlo show down BUT golden boy promotions & the weak scared fan base don't.

Jacobs is not that big a star. More of you guys talk bout Mall than you do Jacobs

Why would they cannabalize their own subscriptions by having Canelo beat Andrade/Ggg again when they are all driving seperate fanbases to subscribe? They are building up Andrade based on his belt, if he was beltless & lost to Nelo Dazn would've instantly wasted everything they invested in him, same with ggg. Dazns model is much different than ppv model
The only thing dazn wants is Nelo/pvssy-g 3. They will stick with the hbo/espn script.

Also too...PBC need to make offers too instead of everybody trying to lure PBC Fighters away from Haymon and try to go around him and offer guys through DM's on Instagram

The going around Haymon is likely because it is stuff in the contract they don't want him to see like options these promoters like to put in deals

For Jermall though, I think going over to DAZN is worth it especially for Canelo, Andrade and Jacobs
But dazn won't even match those guys together so why should he? He should just hold on to the belt to make guys fight him down the road. The only match dazn made was Nelo/Jacobs. At least if someone like Bud went to PBC he WOULD be getting matched up with PBC Fighters as we see PBC doing.

Yeah he didn’t say how much it was but how big a name is Charlo and what has he been earning up until now? .... chances are the money he was offered was way more than he’s ever seen. You guys are gonna make it sound like he got offered 500K to fight Canelo.

And no I didn’t take Whyte’s word for the Wlad sparring story, I simply stated that this is the first time I had heard that Wilder was knocked out COLD. James Ali Bashir actually said Wilder technically got knocked out as he needed almost a minute to recover after being dropped, I guess he has an agenda too.
Cut it out, you know what agendas you doing.
