It would have been ****** risking his drawing power for his return fight. Better to wait and take risky fights
( Khadib) later so its a Win for everybody. Win/Lose everyone benefits

Why Dana....why?! Have some respect for UFC fans and people in general Dana!! Anyone that's seen Cowboy fight knew it was going to be a one round one sided beat down.

Connor got smoked by Nate first fight and 'nate didn't show up 2nd fight. Khabib just smoke that a$$ and an old Floyd played with him.

Mayweather chooses to partake in a gentleman's sport because it is civilized in nature where you only use your fists. None of that kicking and knees and elbows and headlocks.

In boxing, if you are hurt, you can simply take a knee and gather yourself while the ref gives you a standard eight count. If he sees that you are unfit while he is giving you a standing eight , he will simply stop the fight.

In MMA there is none of that. The ref won't jump in until you actually tap out or getting your head savagely beat in.

Simply barbaric trash. Boxing is the absolute civilized gentlemen sport
I agree with you somehow, I think hitting a man on the ground is not morally decent IMO.

But where I disagree with you is it's not why Mayweather won't fight Connor in the octogon.

Mayweather only value money is not a morally dude at all, dude held racist talks many times and had "beating affairs" with women many times too. His money saved his a;ss.

Mayweather won't take a fight he could possibly lose wich is not definition of braveness if you ask me.

I won't call Floyd a coward at all, but I'm just saying and stand by it, Connor is a braver man than Floyd.

As far as Fame and Popularity I will give him that he is the biggest Superstar in Combat sports currently

I've always warned that the Next Superstar after Mayweather would be a MMA guy and NOT a Boxer and that is what has happened

When he fights the World is interested yes even Boxing Fans who like to pretend like they're not interested

At least, he has the balls to come to boxing to fight a boxer.

Floyd, the face of our sport, doesn't have half this courage, afraid to test unknown waters.

Connor is a legit 2 division champ in the UFC, UFC: only 8 divisions, one belt.

Not a paper champ like we have polluting boxing.
I mostly agree on this when it comes to MMA vs boxing, but Conor is the worst possible example to rep MMA in that argument. He never defended either of his belts a single time. Once he became two division champ he walked away from the sport for 2 years and was subsequently stripped of his titles. Credit where its due, he did eventually fight Khabib, but after getting his ass kicked he disappeared for over a year again and is now randomly fighting fringe top 10 guys in a totally different weight class in a fight some people suspect his opponent of taking a dive in, while the UFC hypes it as him making some grand return.

Or the much more simple awnser - Floyd knew his image would be irrepairably damaged because he would lose in under a minute. His ego and brand couldnt handle that, and hes rich and powerful enough that he can dictate terms.

Yep, I hate to say it, but it did look abit strange too. Four shoulder to the face in a row. Spidey sense is tingling lol.

Cowboy now has been stopped in the 1st round 3 times in a row. This is basically Tyson coming back and stopping that McNeely guy.

Connor's ground game isn't good enough and he leaves his chin unprotected too much. He needs to fix these things.

He's always been very good at striking. He knocked out Aldo incredibly quickly but then lost to Diaz on the ground. Hard to see things changing.
