How would he get close enough to Fury to hit him?
Fury is a master of evasion and is difficult enough to hit for a tall man with long reach. How is a short man with short reach going to get close enough to hurt him?

Joshua decided to have a punch up with Ruiz in the first fight because he backs his power against anybody (it turned out to be a bad move on the night).
Fury won't get pulled into a punch up as he doesn't fight that way.

I think it is a massive miss-match in terms of style.

He won't fight Whyte on ESPN. He won't fight Joshua in the US.

If he's got a relatively short term retirement plan then those guys aren't in it.
      My thoughts exactly.
More likely to be Wilder 3, Kownacki or Ruiz and then Hunter. Then QBP to make Joshua in the UK. Whyte for a retirement if he loses to AJ.

      All decent fights though

This is Fury...and that is his plan for tonight (which is unrealistic anyway). With the new sunrise tomorrow, the plan will be different and in reality, he would probably fight another Tom Schwartz.
