You can always count on the Claressa Shields articles to bring out the racist, sexist idiots.

Look, Leila Ali was fighting women who started fighting at like 25/30 years old and there was no base of female fighters to grab from.

Sheilds, though there is still a weaker pool of women to fight, is beating a much better pool of women.

I can't see how people can criticize the quality of the pool of talent in women's boxing today, but act like Laila Ali and women from her era didn't have an even worst pool of talent to draw from.

You gotta know there are more women fighting today then there were in the '90s and early 2000s, right?

I mean, women's boxing wasn't even in the Olympics back then.

Picking Laila Ali over Claressa Shields would be like picking one of those dudes in the NBA, back when they used to have to use the stick to get the ball out of the hoop over LeBron James or Michael Jordan.

Like, it's a totally different sport now.

Well I’m none of the above. Plus I usually love the ******* arrogant types but she comes of really bad.

She is the type of person you just dislike. The school bully type. I don’t know her personally but she seems obnoxious and that is not a marketable trait.
