I think it says something that a guy can start boxing late, have very low skills and just go in and knock everyone he faces out because he has superior speed and power. Knocking guys out like ortiz who has boxed his entire life and has 100's of amateur fights and high level skills. Almost knocking out tyson fury who is an extremely hard boxer to land clean on.

Ortiz was 50 years old do you think he knocks out a 30 year old Ortiz? Some guys are naturally gifted at fighting Ray Mercer never boxed until he was in the Army as an adult became an Olympian and World Champ with little boxing experience

I just think Wilder is extremely gifted athletically and has found his niche for KO'ing people...... but he has one of the most padded records I have ever seen in boxing, and took him years to reach his peak. 40 fight against no-hopers and bums until he stepped up.

Yes, anyone can be 6ft7 and posess unreal power.
He also started boxing at 19 just like Anthony Joshua. Tevin Farmer also took up boxing at 19, lost fights but improved.
if there's any lesson to learn, it's that these guys found their passion in life before it was too late and worked their ass off, but also posessed the attributes to be the best or amongst the best.

Also I feel some people are born to do things in life eg write,paint,box etc.

Also HWs are just different to the other divisions, you get away with technical flaws more, a couple of guys in the top 10 have a nightclub doorman fighting style which is not true with the smaller guys
