Guys there is no point arguing anything related to Canelo. His fans will always see only what they want no matter what the counter argument is. Not just them but pretty much fanboys of any fighter on here do the same.

Nah man. Like i said back in the day it was normal for fighters to fight every 2 to 3 months. Kovalev just got knocked the fucc out!
That's all there is to it. No excuses!

Im not twisting anything. Everything you said is correct. But at the end of the day Canelo moved up two weight divisions and knocked out his opponent. Can't deny that..

Kovalev was far from his Krusher days mainly thanks to Andre Ward.

Yes it used to be normal, I agree with you on that and wish it was still like that.

Kovalev’s still old and has looked old since the second ward fight.

And boxers in the old days sometimes fought once a week!
Wow thats crazy! how far back did that occur?

If that’s true, neither of them fought a good version of Kovalev. Either they fought the same Kovalev or not.

The fact that he just fought Yarde, for which he had almost 2 training camps due to a date change of the venue, then barely had time to recuperate and train for Canelo, combined with the fact that he didn’t care to win, and admitted that he fought Canelo because it was very lucrative financially, and that he had no intention and motivation to win.

Yes, columbian Alvarez did indeed fight a different Kovalev than ginger Alvarez did.
