Jesus, you people are just like PBF. You keep opening your mouths
and utter words which later on goes back to your faces.
    Thank You.

I would say he didn't take the fight because he didn't have to. If the 8 is there now why not later? He wanted to fight Baldomir now who won't be active if Floyd fights Margarito now.

Why is Margarito all of a sudden Mayweather's career defining fight? If Mayweather retired right now, he is a definete Hall of Famer. You seriously have bought into the Margarito hype too much. It's Margarito who needs to fight someone to prove he's the best, not Mayweather...

I agree with you but I think what he was trying to say was that if Floyd wants to call himself #1 p4p and the best of all time, then he has to best all challengers. Regardless of our opinions on Margarito he is a recognized title holder and is ranked right behind Floyd by Ring so he is a "worthy" challenger and he wants to fight.

Baldomir's inactivity shouldn't be concern for PBF dude.

PBF could just have said that the fight will happen later instead of him belittling and insulting Margarito who is a title holder.

When I say inactive I mean permanently retired so the fight would never happen.

Bro even if Baldomir retires that title will be ups for grabs and PBF being the rated number 2 will surely figure out in a fight for the vacant title.

And I just can't see why Baldomir will retire when he has just made a name for himself.

So that line of reasoning is just too shallow.

I think he's a worthy challenger. Do I think he's the career-defining fight for Mayweather like people are making out to be? No. That's what it comes down to...

If Baldomir retired, the lineage is broken and the Floyd would have to unify to be considered the new lineal champ...
