Ive already said that Floyd fighting Baldomir is fine since Floyd would be fighting for the world titles, but I doubt after that he'll fight Margarito. I really belive Floyd will move up in weight if he beats Baldomir(which he will).

Totally agree. But that makes sense considering he is supposed to be fighting DLH in May. If that fight is supposed to be at 154 then Floyd definitely needs the tune up and the time to get used to the weight. Nonetheless, I still think a Margarito-Mayweather fight at 147 is attractive regardless of the outcome of a DLH-Mayweather fight (and I think they can both get big paydays as well)

Yeah I was also gana say that about how he's gana fight Oscar at a higher weight so it makes sense, but man would I love to see Mayweather and Margarito get it on......

Truthfully I don't think there is anyone Mayweather can fight to make his career look great. DLH and Mosley are both over the hill and beating them will be a right of passage more than an accomplishment (like DLH beating Whitaker and Chavez). And there is no Trinidad, Vargas, Quartey, Hopkins, or Mosley's around for Floyd to fight like there was for DLH. I definitely want to see him fight Margarito but if he wins revisionist historians will claim he wasn't an elite fighter. I think Floyd's best legacy option is to beat a prime, undefeated Ricky Hatton and/or beat a more seasoned Miguel Cotto while still undefeated. There was just something about DLH's mega-fights against undefeated Mosley and Trinidad that raise him to a different level than Floyd is at right now.
