This guy is such a sell-out.

Between riding PBC and riding his guy Julian Williams who - by the way - Bread coached and trained into getting KTFO...what a sellout.

I don't know, I don't see any real bias or overt favoritism. I see opinions, many which I disagree with, but they are backed by common sense rationale.

I enjoy the Mailbag immensely. I like seeing Bread's take on things and I think it should be appreciated that a trainer is willing to let us get a glimpse of his thoughts and opinions.

Not a horrible answer and I don’t think he is racist, I think he is biased which is fine, not ok with me with the platform he has... no big deal. So if he is biased out in public, he may be a closet racist... that’s a whole other issue. I just re-watched round12 of the Meldrick Taylor vs Chavez I fight.

Timestamped with 30 seconds to go:

Taylor was hurt badly with 25 seconds left, stumbling around, then dropped hard with 16 seconds left. Taylor got up with the help of the top rope after about 5-6 seconds but never took his hands off the top rope. He never had his hands up, he was just balancing himself with help of the ropes with a blank stare on his face & his mouth open.

It was a fine stoppage, the ref isn't supposed to care how much time is left.

Everyone keeps saying that Richard Steele screwed Meldrick Taylor in the Chavez fight. People are entitled to their opinion so if that's how they feel then oh well....
But it's a good thing that Richard is also black cause if that had been a white referee or worse a Mexican/Latin referee then we would never hear the end of it with all the black people screaming racism and playing the race card.
Not trying to offend anyone or start a race argument on here but those are facts!

I was working security that nite in Taylors corner..

Steele threw the fight for Don king..Taylor was ahead 8 , 9 rounds

Steele saw the red light flashing as I did...he knew Chavez didn't have enough time to come all the way across the ring to even touch Taylor

So why stop it unless..he had orders to do so..

There was no way a East coast boxer w Duva was going to come to Vegas and beat a West Coast boxer w king
