Quality of opposition does matter. Now how are we defining that? Are we using reasonable, equal criteria applied to each fighter or are we using NSB posters that hate Floyd criteria?

I'll make this easy-Shane, Cotto and Manny weren't prime, but they were all better than the versions of MAB and Morales that Manny beat the decade before. Canelo was the EXACT same -23 years old with 8 championship fights-as Fernando Vargas was when he fought Felix and ODH, which many consider a great win for both. Even the bums on his resume-Ghost, Berto, Maidana and Ortiz-are former world champions.

At some point dude when all the hate and pettiness is set aside and we analyze this through just a boxing lens, you can't minimize Floyd's decade without making almost every other modern fighter post 1995 look mediocre.

Let's face it, this was more of an honorary award, like a life time achievement award that they give at the Academy Awards.
Oh yeah, but the WBN is as legit as it gets

Floyd Mayweather is the fighter of the decade for 10-19. That's a fact and you should get over it you clown.

Floyd did that during the decade as well. Armstrong had previously done that if I am not mistaken.

Anyway, you said that if Floyd won it, you would cease to post in Floyd and Pac threads ever again.

            Now do one.
Trust me, I know what I said and I will try. But if threads are made of who is best of era, and goat then I'm sure I will be around. But I will not be around Floyd threads if I can help.
Fury wilder threads now that's a different topic

doesn't deserve it. PAC made history multiple times this decade. pacs win against undefeated world champ thurman is better than floyd's wins against old mosley who gassed out after the first few rounds, mental midget ortiz, very green drained canelo, #7 ranked maidana, past prime damaged goods cotto who lost soon after to trout.

and PAC was injured when they fought.

meanwhile PAC became the only 8 weight champ in 2010, became only 5 weight lineal champ in 2016, became the oldest welterweight champ in history/only 4x welterweight champ in 2019. choice was clear in pacquiao's favor.
