But for sure I won't talk about Floyd in future if I can help it and certainly I won't post more than one post in a thread if at all possible.
I will be respectful to fotd and give praise now.
    That will last 10 minutes.

Anyway, you said that if Floyd won it, you would cease to post in Floyd and Pac threads ever again.

    Now do one.

I know one champion he didn't beat.
      - first and only 8 weight world champion
      - arguably only 5 weight lineal champion
      - oldest welterweight champion in history
      - only fighter in history to hold a world title in 4 decades
      - 2nd fighter in history to win a world title 20 years apart
      - only 4x welterweight champion in history
      - beat more undefeated world champions than floyd.
      - has beaten more current, former, and future champions than floyd

get a grip. it's easy to see why PAC deserved fotd AGAIN.

What's 15 got to do with anything? There's 10 years in a decade.

        2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019.

        2010-2015 is 6 years tard.

Mcgregor you Irish son of a gun!
McGregor has nothing to do with it. It was the EASY wins over Pac and Canelo that won it for Floyd.

Floyd also was in the highest grossing fight ever (up to that point) and had some other big wins.
I'm sure quality of opposition had to have been considered. There is also the impact a fighter makes on the sport as a whole. Floyd was the highest earner this past decade and I'm sure that counts for something with many of these writers.

Let's face it, this was more of an honorary award, like a life time achievement award that they give at the Academy Awards.
Yet I bet you were dishing out praise when Manny won it in the last decade.

Oh hang on, you've only been here almost 3 years, newb.

              Silly me.

Do you realize that the many FOTY winners only fought 2x in a year? Canelo just won FOTY and he only fought 2x in 2019.The conor fight is the single highest grossing fight in the history of the sport.

Respectfully, you seem to be confused about the definitions of the words of and for. If the award was fighter for a decade, then he would have to fight for a decade to be eligible to win. Fighter of the decade means he only had to fight during the decade to be eligible.

In Floyd's case, his resume during the decade is superior to everyone else, even though they fought in more years during the decade.

it wasn't just the multiple FOTY. he made history twice. first and only 7 weight world champion, first 4 weight lineal champion. and he easily had the better wins and more impressive performances.
