Antonio Brown isn't a Youtuber. And yes if he fights Logan Paul on DAZN I'll be watching.

look terry....i think youre a good guy...and i understand that haymon has canceled out alot of guys you have probably built friendships and relationships with over the years

but the reason is that tanks not going over to another network to fight a guy nobody knows about or cares about.....tank is selling 14k in tickets in multiple cities...hes already making 3 mil a fight....going over to fight farmer for 5 mil with an option is going against everything theyve done with tank to this point...and that money isnt changing tanks life

same with charlo...yeah its a good deal for a night...but its not changing his life at this point.....and nobody knows andrade....or cares about him...his resume is worse than charlos basically(hard to fathom but its close)......now offer charlo fair money and the canelo or golovkin fight and see what happens

its just a difference of opinion. Selling Hearn an option is no different than if Hearn won a purse bid. Actually, its even better than if Hearn won a bid, because on an option you can actually negotiate terms such as venue, etc.

If Hearn won a purse bid, would you suggest that Tank pull a Quillin move and vacate his title so as not to fight on Hearns platform? Where does this network nonsense end?

But we both know the REAL reason the offer is rejected
True I should've said takes care of the ref and judges since the promoter pays them and they provide a list for the commission to select from. You know the promoter is in control of virtually every aspect of selection and pay of the officials.

Now please answer the question if you were a young fighter's promoter with the long term potential of a a Tank, that has been drawing like he has, would you advise him to take this fight on the opponent's promoter's network?

Rather than give an open ended speculative answer about why the offer was rejected, just tell us what you would do.

terry...where does it end? i dont know...couldnt tell you

but answer me this....if bob arum had spence, pac, danny, thurman, porter etc....and the pbc had crawford....do you think for an instant that bob arum wouldnt be doing the exact same thing?!?! of course he would!

DAZN is still in his infancy stages...or even you might say "toddler" stage....they are more desperate...especially the hearn part of it....other than AJ he doesnt have much.....he brought guys like andrade in and he cant deliver him a fight....even with the top MW names in the sport right on the same network.....think about that......hes got guys like farmer and andrade and hes headlining youtube guys to sell the card....

the pbc guys arent desperate....you dont help people out who appear desperate...not when theyre competition in business....now maybe DAZN isnt actually desperate...i dont know...but they appear to me.....haymon and co. would probably have a bit more insight into that...but if they are desperate you dont help them

            It’s a f.ucking joke

Hearn was right when he said he was going to change the sport in the US when DAZn was first Launched

He’s taking Boxing which is already almost a Carnival and decided to add a Dancing Bear & Bearded Lady into the mix to leave no doubt what this is

it depends if you are answering the question as a MANAGER, or as a PROMOTER, because their interests are different.

As a PROMOTER, I advise my fighter to pass. My interests with the network might not align with the best interests of my fighter. But a promoter has no fiduciary duty to the fighter, so he is free to do what is in his own self interests.

As a MANAGER, I advise my fighter that as long as the offer is clean, the extra $2 million is worth taking the risk (assuming we like the fight). As long as the bout is in the US, the opposing side has no distinct advantage.

Look back at the history of celbrity fights, hell they even had a tv show! These types of "fights" have happened before. Its nothing new. Its just that now, because of social media, there's a huge following.

I'm not saying its right or even good for the sport, but lets not pretend that this just came out of nowhere. In the end, it can make money. I'm sure if any of the posters talking down on it would love to make money as a promoter selling this product.

The rematch between KSI and Logan Paul is getting a lot of attention, but it's far from the first instance of eccentricities inside a ring.

Of course he would, but that doesnt make it right. And if the "new guard" is going to operate the same as the old guard, then whats the point of eliminating the old guard?

But Arum and Haymon have different obligations to their fighters. Arum, as a promoter, is allowed to put his interests ahead of the fighter. Haymon, as a manager, is supposed to put the fighters interests ahead of his own. Yet time and time again, it seems these decisions always point to what is best for Al / PBC, and not necessarily what is best for the fighter. Although technically if Tank is still promoted by TMT, then the water gets a bit murkier, and Tank might not even be able to accept an offer like that........

terry....think about it...whats best for tank? taking a one off payday from DAZN? or maybe staying the course with al?

al has built wilder into a 30 mil a year guy....he did what he did with floyd...he has a couple of successful ppvs for spence(yes not wildly...but decent...better than crawfords)....hes got tank selling 14k in tickets in multiple cities

while hearn has youtube guys headlining cards for andrade and farmer...and they cant sell squat....

whats the best interest for tank or charlo? going to the guy who cant even land andrade a fight with canelo, jacobs or golovkin? or staying with haymon? how about tank? stay with haymon and headline or go with the guy that has farmer as an undercard guy behind youtubers?

taking high pay for one night is not necessarily whats best for a fighter long term
