Cutting through all the bs, how do you see Wilder-Fury II REALLY playing out?

Of course they’re going to talk, Wilder with his New Age spiritual stuff and Fury with his, well, clowny ridiculousness.

So, how do you see the fight REALLY playing out?

(NOTE: I’m looking to discuss this fight with the thinking boxing fans here and won’t give any of my time to the racists, fanboys/gals and conspiracy theorists on EITHER side.)

Fury out boxing Wilder to a UD again. Whether he gets the decision is another thing though.

Wilder KO win or Fury Decision. Basically a coin flip for me, but if I had to choose, I think Wilder gets him after getting "schooled/exposed" for several rounds. wouldnt be shocked by either result.

If Fury remained with his team and brought Roach back I’d confidently be picking Fury. As it is now I don’t know. Saw a clip from the TR site (youtube) and his current coach seems like a ******. I have no faith.

Thanks for your post, I think you make a great point. His new trainer sounds like a decent fellow but I really had question marks over the timing of the change. I think the team of Davison/Hatton/Roach did a great job last time around. Fury is most likely coming with the approach that he has to get him out of there early. But if that’s the case he should have changed trainers long ago.
Curious to see how Sugar Hill trains him and what approach they use. I have a feeling Fury isn’t really going to stand in the middle of the ring and slug with Wilder, few could do that, and in spite of his good recovery time and sturdy chin, Fury’s no Oliver McCall.
I’m calling his bluff, but I think it will be an interesting fight and could go either way as mentioned before by several posters.

Thanks again for your well thought out comment.

I see Wilder being outboxed, once again. This time though, I see Wilder knocking out Fury. In 7.

I see it similar to the first one, just depending on if Wilder can catch Fury. But we said that first time and Fury got up and won the rest of the round, so it’s not as simple as that.

I expect a better Fury this time, and i do expect him to try to land more. But don’t believe him when he says he going for an early knockout. He’s too smart for that. I do believe that he’s going to try to land bigger shots this time though.

As for Wilder, what can he do really. He cannot box with Fury, otherwise he’ll look foolish. He has to let his hands go more but he’s never been a volume puncher, so that won’t happen. He’s going to do what he does and look for a big shot, that’s it. That said, it’s one thing saying it, it’s another thing doing it when you have an insane puncher ready to fire back..

I lean towards Fury. Fury always up’s his game in big fights and i think he’ll be better this time. He looks as healthy and motivated as i’ve ever seen him really.

People saying Wilder has improved is complete nonsense, based on what? A two minute fight with Breazeale where we learned nothing, and then getting outboxed badly v Ortiz until he landed a big shot, which is just the way it’s always been with Wilder.

I don’t think Wilder can improve much, he really is what he is, but has the best equaliser in boxing. Fury on the other hand has more sides to his game, but he has to be clever in how he uses them.
