You can't strip Joshua for fighting one mandatory over another as long as he sticks to the rotation. You will find they could choose to wait but equally they could choose not too. In their view the rematch with Ruiz slowed down the process of fighting their mandatory and ‘could’ have chosen to not allow it then.

At the end of the day it’s upto then to decide. As I mentioned previously they may agree a deal to either fight Joshua afterwards or Joshua vacates but gets a shot straight after regardless - the latter would make most commercial sense for matchroom but make less money for WBO you would think

No one is fooling anyone certainly not you, If the IBF requests a mandatory fight and Joshua does not comply he is stripped ,a fighter cannot stop a sanctioned body because he’s following a rotation if both are due.

It's illegal for a sanctioning body to strip a unified champion if he follows the rotation. A federal court order prevents it.
