Well it really depends what you're calling elite and if it's US only. I'd imagine NFL, purely on a numbers basis. I think there are 32 nfl teams? Each only has 1 star quarterback and maybe 2-3 in a reason are considered elite? That comes from an ultimate pool of millions of kids who started with dreams of becoming a pro footballer? We have 17 weight classes in boxing and the pool is far smaller if it's a US only pool.
