Khan's not even relevant anymore. And I'm pretty sure Kell Brooks feels the same way he feels about Floyd.

Money? Considering maidanas prior losses it is what it is. An avg win nothing special. Khan Alexander had done it already. Khan even put him down. I know that was 140 but still. I just think Khan fast hands and amateur euro style may have been an annoying fight for Floyd because Khan could run all night as proven vs maidana, and do high volume fast hands to aim for a UD. If he was disciplined that's be interesting . Doesn't he have a slightly longer reach than Floyd? Regardless I don't think anyone cab say he ducked Khan but we'll never know if there's any truth to that only Floyd and his team will know.

I believe that Khan's style may have been a factor, and I made sure to mention that Mayweather's final fight was the most realistic time for a Mayweather-Khan matchup instead of Andre Berto.

Broner had just won a title at 147, however his over-the-top persona and combined with his being prematurely anointed as "the next Mayweather" made Maidana's win even more note-worthy. In short, it was the perfect storm as far as marketing.

Mayweather is actually listed as having slightly longer reach on boxrec, however I do think that Khan's speed might have given Floyd problems initially. The only issue with Amir is the discipline (or lack thereof) that you alluded to. I would trust Floyd to stay calm under fire and finish strong down the stretch more than I would trust Amir Khan to stay disciplined for 12 rounds. At some point I could see him leaving his chin in the air after a rapid-fire flurry and getting caught. You make good points though.

Khan taking his snooker club boasts outside the snooker club again. He can convince his pals but nobody else.

I'm not even close to being a Floyd fan but I have but one question for you. What damn crack are you smoking????

Why do people insult the guy for saying something true he was stylistically a bad match up for mayweather. khans chin didnt start going down until maidana and mayweather had problems with guys with fast hands.

Floyd ducked plenty, prime pac being the biggest duck.

But prime khan vs. floyd, Khan destroys Floyd.

                    Taller
                    Faster
                    About the same reach
                    In N Out style

Floyd didn’t KO opponents only fought to decision. Khan would have no worries and he would’ve took Floyd to school.
That’s why Floyd avoided so many fighters.
                    Dasss a fact.

Not to mention, his public begging for a fight was beyond pathetic. But sure, keep riding the Khan train
Oh yeah. He had the greatest timing in the world. Against short, slow, flat footed guys with lessor reach. As long as the guy had a name Floyd could half way exploit, let's rumble.

Only in Floyd/Floyd Boy world is calling a fighter out a bad thing. In a day and age where the best guys act like neither one exists. It's a reason why the excuses fly when it comes to Khan, and it doesn't have anything to do with him being a pain in the azz. Lol
