Nelo was at an early stage and green, Floyd had no problem with fighting Nelo albeit with a CW. So i doubt Berto, Connor and tenshin were more worthy opponents.?
Canelo brought in alot of money and had a big name
Thurman was mandatory for a while when he fought Maidana

Berto, Connor, Tenshin. Were retirement fights...

Spence, Crawford were all risk no reward. They had no names, and hadn't done nothing at 147 at the time. Reason(excuse) Thurman didn't fight Spence his best win was Bundu at the time.

But u expect the top guy to fight guys with no names who bring in no money??

Stop it. Only guy that would have made sense is Thurman!

Retirement fights? Didn't Floyd care about Fotd fights? Why he retire so abruptly didn't he want fotd? If Floyd didn't retire so suddenly and waited around look how highly rated Crawford's spence are? Which is no surprise they were touted as the future once Pac and Floyd retired
Spence was on the lips of everyone back then. The idea going around was spence beat floyd in sparring and Floyd wanted no part of spence. Of course it was high risk, and the reward is your legacy. It's better to boast you beat s pence, thurman and Crawford rather than.maidana, ortiz and guerero isn't it?

And yet, Floyd did actually avoid him. Khan was a big draw, name fighter who presented a real challenge for Floyd at one point. Most fight fans wanted to see it at one point. Floyd did a poll to ask the fans who he should fight; most said Khan, Floyd thought better of it and went elsewhere. Khan's unbelievably irritating, but he's not lying about this.

Khan has been beat at least once every two years since his career started. Baring Canelo and Crawford he was the favourite in every fight and still lost a few . He had a back and forth with Chris Algieri but believes Mayweather style will be easier to beat
