Good for taylor, why would he stay with a domestic outfit when he could be big in the USA? Good for him

Nothing? Sorry but am all for the fighters but they got him to being a two belt holder at 140 with only 16 fights as a pro. Not sure what’s in the contract but am sure they have made their monies twicefold back. So I hope he is able to get out clean, but to suggest they haven’t done anything for him is a bit much.

Looks like he has cut ties with Shane McGuigan aswell.

Really seems like Taylor has done them dirty. Shame as I didn't think he was that sort of character. Honour your promotional agreements before moving on.

Normally would say Arum isn't going to make a move like this unless he knows it's a sure thing for him legally. But he did go after Benavidez then have to U turn so not so sure now

I couldn't agree more . He would not be in this situation under any other promoter, fact . But I was thinking about this the other day. Barry is just a nucince middle man in any future deals do not makes sence. I do worry he is losing shane tho

These are all fun and games but will end in a financial settlement being made

He will never see that many good matchups or opportunities offered to him again now with TR. He will become stagnant waiting for the money fight as long as it doesn't create too much risk. Taylor's moment of greatness which he could very well share with Prograis is all he will know. Although he will be compensated well, while we read about him and his promoter pretending throughout the rest of his career. Hope I'm wrong.

fell into their laps? they signed up for a tournament and for their fighter ready for it (he did win it after all), let's not forget he only had 13 fights before the tournament. they promoted every Taylor fight before and the tournament just ended, so how can you know they had nowhere to go with him?

it's time to move on when your contract is over. if they don't have a valid contract, fair game. but it's unfair for small promoters to lose their fighter when he reaches the peak (and still under contract) after investing so much.

not sure how you see your message as sensible.
