Good fighter. I hope the move gets him meaningful fights. He seems like he wants the big names in his weight class.

At the end of the day all British Fighters abandon the UK and head to America for stardom..

This happened to Carl Frampton under bad circumstances he then parted ways with trainer Shane Mcguigan, I wonder if Josh Taylor will follow suit.

That's not right at all. I've watched Taylor's career, and he was matched perfectly BEFORE he entered the WBSS.
He had the right domestic fights, then was put in with a tough ex champ in Postol to prove he was ready for world level before WBSS came along.
We don't know the financial aspects of their contract, but to say Cyclone did nothing for Taylor is clueless BS.

The sad reality is that they go to America for money, not for stardom, because there has been ZERO British fighters aside from possibly Fury who have went to America and broke through. Frampton was undoubtedly a bigger star before PBC, and where is he now? He lost all the luster his career had.

Taylor is most certainly out with Shane, there's no way you screw over the team that badly after everything they did and think Shane stays with him.

Don't even take this guy seriously. He says they were content to collect cheques SINCE then but there hasn't been anything SINCE then, the tourney just finished! lol

They got him a title before the WBSS and they got him to the point where the WBSS wanted him.

He didn't win a world title until the WBSS semifinals. I didn't deny what they did to get him where he's at but they haven't really promoted a show in over a year and don't have anything coming up. What's the point in staying with them if they don't have the resources to get you further?

PBC gave Frampton the fights with Santa Cuz but he shyt the bed in the rematch.

Top Rank got bitchy when Eddie Hearn was seen talking with Terence Crawford at an event.

But they have no problem tampering with other fighters like Josh Taylor.
