Boxing has to be the biggest joke in sports. Only, it's not even funny anymore

Fights between Best vs Best are getting more and more expensive to make.
No one wants to fight for $1 million anymore.
That's why we get Danny Garcia vs Redkach, for example.
Ugas is fighting Dallas. These are cheaper to make.
Bottom line is there's not enough money doe.
Fanboys want their idols to make gazillion money.Comment

It is what it is.... Thats why we should preciate the fights that do get made and quit hating just cuz it was made by "the other side"Comment

The best do fight the best for the most part. Of course there will be exceptions but that’s how it has always been and always will be.
The amount of belts is annoying but life don’t depend on it.
I don’t see how the sport is on life support, there’s still big fights and a lot of coverage in the age of social media, it’s thriving.Comment

It's people like you, Mirko, that really solidify that boxing is dying. Only a creepy internet nerd who has no life at all and by that, I mean that you spend every second on here because you can't get anything going in any other facet of your life and will die a ******, are on here 24/7 and boxing fans are so ****ing bored that they actually respond to you. Now that is a clear sign that the sport is in serious trouble. I wish you'd drop your man crush on me and leave well enough alone, but you won't. You'll never stop. You'll be on here when the site shuts down and then you'll just jump on something else, other than a life.Comment

Yeah, I hear ya, bruh.
I always say boxing would already be dead if it wasn't the best sport in the world.
I mean, how hard is it to get people fighting against each other right?
Think about that.
Put 1 guy in a ring against another guy and have them fight for money & glory.
But somehow we get at least 4 champs in each division and 17 weight classes and fights that happen long after anyone stopped caring.
Like, we need one reallllly rich dude like Mark Cuban or somebody to just come in a buy everyone out and say, "Fxck it, we're resetting everything and creating a boxing league like UFC" or something.Comment

i agree!The best don't fight the best.
There are a billion titles which mean nothing.
Some decent fights happen here and there but only because of luck.
How can a sport on life support like this even still exist?
It's truly amazing.
I've hung on for a long, long time, going back to the early 90s but I mean, why should anyone even care anymore?
include the corrupt judges
include PED users that are allowed to fight, some consider them great
include tap-tap-hug fighters winning the fight
include 4 yr inactive boxer winning the FOTD
include a sucker puncher representing the sport
include a ped user asking for strict drug testing

Ortiz made over $7 million in the Wilder 2 fight doe. So expect Ruiz to make the same amount when he fights Wilder. Likewise, expect Espinoza to say, "Take it to Fox doe. I'd rather make another showcase fight for Charlo. It's cheaper."Fights between Best vs Best are getting more and more expensive to make.
