    It's sad but was not the point I'm making. Reward & recognition comes from putting time and effort into something.

    Mayweather:
    Time = 6 out of 10 yrs
    Effort = 10 fights

    Pacquiao:
    Time = 10 out of 10 yrs
    Effort = 16 fights

    You don't get a high school diploma after your sophmore year. And being that Floyd is a drop out, him winning the FOTD by BWAA is the wrong message to be sending out.

      They risked lives much.more. If Nell don't get it for sometimes fighting 4 times a year, bwaa are sending out message nelos life is meaningless and of little value

          Don’t forget Tenshin, his toughest opponent of all time.
          Big time accomplishment.

            If making enough money so you don't have to do anything you don't want to do is the act of ignorant/****** person, sign me up. I wouldn't be surprised if May doesn't have a few college educated people working for him !

            May may not deserve it but Pac DEFINITELY doesn't.
            Of the 2, I'd pick May to come in 2nd.

              Yeah, I bet you would help May come in seconds.

                I don't think Floyd did much career wise over Pac's other than officially getting the win over him. But you have to evaluate how Floyd got the win over him. Ppl act like that win over him is good enough to take FOTD. Really? Other countries outside the U.S. debated that fight and thought Pac won. And there was no rematch for clarity. But on record, I accept Floyd got the win in a LACKLUSTER fight which he did not dominate or knockdown Pac. One who can evaluate that fight properly would agree that Floyd's win was not impressive. Floyd got hurt multiple times, got countered multiple times, stalled the action with too much clinching for no reason, throwing forearms & elbows, throwing arm punches that ends up in a head lock or pushing Pac away from behind his head in another direction, and running. Trainer Robert Garcia even said Floyd fights dirty. And trainer Nacho Beristein said Floyd is a disgrace to the sport with that kind of performance. Man, Floyd made that fight look sloppy. In the end, the win is not good enough for FOTD.

                Now on PacMan... I can see how him getting KO'd in the decade has negative impact towards FOTD. But he fought thru that situation and ended the decade as a champion against young elite opposition. Remember, Floyd relinquished all his titles and never gave the opportunity to the young guns to pass the torch over. With Pac, you can say the young guns tried the take the torch. I believe that counts a lot towards FOTD regardless of the KO. Pac has more accomplishments and I believe Floyd shouldn't even be consider on the list. It should be between Pac and Canelo.

                  Let's stick to FOTD. Career is a whole other topic.

                  May didn't lose while having fought enough times for it to happen
                  Beat Pac (who has lost mumtiple times)
                  Beat Nelo (yes, at a CW. A weight Pac would never have entertained).
                  May fought and beat McGregor
                  Is Pac fighting Baby Margarito that much better (on peper, hell yes. In actuality, though ?!?!?!?!?).
                  Pac then went on to fight other guys who may as well have been debuts (Lucas, Broner, Algieri).

                  Yes, those goes would have beaten McGregor (Maybe not Lucas and Broner would have struggled). But that fight OBVIOUSLY wasn't about competition.

                  Do people have to spell out Richest Publicity Stunt Ever to your crew ?!?!?! And when a Pacboi claims Pac would never stoop so low as to fight an 0-0 guy for a 1/4 of a BILLION USDs, well, you're fooling yourselves.

                  I guarantee you this, Pac will never take the short end of the money (if he's not fighting May) !

                  ''Pac is above taking a 1/4 BILLION USD bum fight''

                  Nelo wins it by default....A technicality. Pac finishes 3rd.

                    Yeah... I meant career wise in the last 10 yrs.

                    In this topic, I don't care much about how much money they make or negotiate in a fight. So what if Pac took Broner for the fans he draws and the money from it. Fact is Keith Thurman don't have a huge fan base to influence more money and Pac took him on regardless of how much the fight made. Pac fought more undefeated contender than Floyd has in this decade. Like I said, Pac is putting more effort and time in. Floyd shouldn't be on the list. But I kinda understand why he is on the list. Only reason is cuz the Capitol of boxing has to have 2 Americans on the list. And I'm American myself who served in the Army. I'm not ashamed to say how I see it when it comes to boxing... nothing but real talk from me. Nothing I said is a lie.

                      Ok, let's say Keith was a quality win. That's ONE FIGHT.
