I wrote Whyte instead of Ortiz. It should read “Hunter is not better than what Jennings was when Jennings fought Ortiz.”

In that case I'd have to agree they are the same level type fighter . Jennings was coming off a really good showing vs wlad .....BUT that the was the fight I knew wlad was slipping and the end was near.

40, but hey, we may as well just add an arbitrary number of years to the end of his age.

It's what all of Wilder's haters do to disparage Ortiz.

Age is only relevant when it comes to Deontay Wilder opponents. Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte opponents can’t be old.

Povetkin is 6 months younger than Luis Ortiz but hey let's not talk about Ortiz age

Good choice in Povetkin in my view. If he fights Povetkin and Ortiz this year with wins then he has to be right up there in the rankings. I don’t understand his view of getting the numpty fury fought last - he needs to go beat someone in the top50 first

WBC should order whyte vs ortiz for that interim strap . That would be fun and would prolly shut down alot of theories and arguments on this board lol . I feel povetkin or ortiz are fairly close in levels maybe they should fight too

I think my bottom line is alot if the top 10 outside of the big 3 are quite equal so there are many good fights to be made ...throw hunter , parker , ruiz ( inshape lol), ortiz , povetkin etc in with each other and you have some close 50/50 fights all around. This division isnt the golden era people spoke of may be coming but there are some goods fight to be made i . But if these young guns come to fruition while the big 3 are still active we have some fun times ahead boys .....that's assuming theres a few of you out there who are actually fans of boxing , not fighters and agendas
