It wasn't that long ago when none of the pbc crew would fight Spence.

Don’t be naive. There are many cryptic scripts from PBC fighters not mentioning in-house names by design because guess what!? Haymon advises their roadmap, each, for their monetary gain of fillers and extension while Haymon builds his portfolio and collects fees. This is how it’s always been.

This is clear since PBC fighters have said they won’t fight on ESPN and only on Fox or Show. We’ve heard them say this. 90% of the interviews say, “I gotta sit down with Al to see...”

Bradley did the same thing when he would say he wouldn’t fight any Haymon fighters.

that’s a flawed theory and cliche one at best. Not all Southpaws are difficult, depends on the fighter who can nullify. Canelo Alvarez is in his prime. Classics fans act like casuals when they reference fights 7 years prior as if a fighter hasn’t evolved. The Canelo Haters say he had problems with Southpaws in Trout. Regardless if Canelo decisively beating Trout, then why would he fight Lara it industry knew he would be even more difficult than Trout? Derp derp

Then you’ve got the holy grail of “stylistic Southpaw nightmare” in BJS where everyone said would be a problem for Canelo, particularly after seeing the Lemeiux fight. As if Canelo fights anything like Lemeiux.

Cliche or not, I've seen enough fighters of Andrade's type get swerved to know that there's truth in it. Of course, not all southpaws are slippery and elusive but Andrade happens to be.
Credit to Canelo for taking on Lara, but his comments about Andrade being "boring" or indeed Charlo's about him being a "nobody" sound too familiar to be coincidental.

You appear to have taken my previous comment as some kind of swipe at Canelo and while I'll never be his biggest fan, it was honestly just an observation based on what I've seen over a number of years with various fighters.

Tricky southpaws who tend to make opponents look a bit silly will always have trouble landing certain fights.
Fighters HATE being made to look silly.
Andrade's not the first and he won't be the last.

With GGG I want him to fight those sort of threat too. But GGG only moves when Canelo moves, so Boo boo’s promoter is doing what a promoter should be doing, trying to get him fights that would propel him to those names.

It’s a sad event when boxing fans are deflecting why another boxer (Charlo) who is in the same shoes as Boo Boo, who has been offered a career high payday to unify is belt.

PBC is going to take a huge hit after Wilder loses next month, throwing Charlo in with Andrade is basic suicide because it’s a huge mismatch in favor of Andrade . Haymon won’t be foolish to let that fight happen as well knowing he’s stuck with the Fury signed contractual ones that are going to bury Wilder . You’ll just see guys like Spence , Charlo, Tank being protected but this little group is on its way out by 2022 .

it’s ok for canelo not to fight Andrade in 2020 because he fought Lara and trout at jmw in 2014?

And it’s ok for ggg not to fight Andrade as well why he waits for canelo and instead fight a 25-1 underdog.

But when Charlo doesnt fight Andrade it’s a problem and bad for the sport?
