Why does he need a tune up? Nothing was broke! No stitches! No head injuries. No surgeries. Doctors released his early. Spence said hes good and wants no tune ups and doesnt need any.

if he feels good mentally and physically then i dont see what the problem is. aint like he fought and got ko. dude was in a car accident. i dont think it will effect him the same way as if he got knocked out cold in his previous fight.

I'd settle the IBf mandatory, it's a good but not top 5 opponent. But if he needs less of a risk then Josesito Lopez, Figueroa Jr wouldn't be bad choices

nah.. getting ko'd in a fight, shiiet will haunt a person if that person is not strong minded. being in a car crash has nothing to do with him fighting, not related at all. unless you telling me he's gonna have flash backs of him flying thru that window when he gets hit?

Spence already had lost something in his last fight against Porter, in spite of the win. That was the kind of fight that leaves both participants with scars. Think Hagler vs Mugabi. Or Bradley vs Provodnikov.

I don't think he'll be back on the very top for all of the above AND the car accident.

Incidentally, anyone notice a trend with the "hard fight first/road accident later" pairing? I'm thinking of Chico Corrales and Paul Williams.
