Surely if they were already homeless, I wasn't really the root cause? Though granted, the 300 dollars that you would have seemingly split amongst the some half a million homeless folks in the US, will surely be missed.

OK gentlemen, looking like will shall shortly be back in business with some fixed dates from TR and possibly hopefully with Hearn pulling asome shows together. I ain't epecting any superfights or even anything particularly big right now, but that ain't really what this ish is about anyway.

Choice might be a little limited so I can't guarantee every pick 'em is gonna be in any way competitve, but then they often ain't even at the best of times. Nonetheless there are some tasty match-ups such as Baranchyk vs Zepeda in early July...

Gonna try to canvass some opinion on what level of fights to include over the next few days, trying to strike a balance between worthewhile fights and keeping things moving, I'm not particularly sold on Shakur's fight for instance but I think we might throw it in, ditto Magdaleno. Culcay has a TBA which may or may not be worth it... but I am liking the look of Kingpin vs Wach just for fun on the 12th... one for the forum veterans I guess..

Anyways, time to get your game heads on gents, and please don't hesitate to offer suggestions or opinions on what fights you'd like to see in the game or how we can make the best of the currewnt situation, as everthe aim is to have a game which we can all enjoy as much as possible.

According to the current rules everyone gets topped up to 1 x5 on July 1st, so you only get an extra one if you already used the one you got. I realise this means many players are gonna be left scrambling for a fight where the underdog has at least chance at the upset, but we'll do our best to include as many close fights as we can from the few available.

EDIT: Lemme have a think about it and maybe a lil chat with the rest of the Crew. I can definitely see a case for putting back the x5 top up to August 1st to even up the two halves of the season a bit given the two to three months we lost in the first half. Also hopefully open up a couple more potentially competitive fights like the aforementioned Baranchyk vs Zepeda fight. Watch this space, but the more I think about it the more that feels like a fair compromise.

Kinda misses the point of a multiplier I think, especially the x5 with it's inherent lowish chance of a score, but I do get that the way things have fallen it's a little unfair on those who didn't use it before Covid hit. OTOH if the cash-in is any significant amount it's unfair on folk who wasted it early cos they might well have saved it had a guaranteed reward - even a small one - been on the table.

I'll give it some thought, it ain't a bad suggestion at all but it'd need some figuring on how best to implement it (ie do you let folk wait until 7/1 or 8/1 to see whther a fight they like comes up or make em call now whether they want the reward or the gamble) and how much it would be.

I think your suggestion of evening out the season halfway point is good (i.e. push the use-by-date to August). Another suggestion might be to just let the players keep the extra multiplier and use it whenever they want this year (i.e. no use-by-date at all)
