    It wasn't unsustainable. Revenue went up until it became super easy to steal without basically no fear of consquences.

    Yeah the artist adapted by not becoming artists in the first place.

      If it was sustainable then it would have been sustained. It got disrupted because it was ripe for disruption. Too high a cost and the consumer based too low a value on it.

      I don't think we've got a shortage of artists.

      Subscription services prove that people are prepared to pay for things.
