What they were charging was unsustainable. Just like boxing PPVs.

The artists adapted. Charge the money for your performances. Plus take steady income from streaming services.

Maybe we'll see steadier income for boxers from subscription channels... and the big spikes in money coming for performing on a card. Maybe then we'll see guys fighting more than once or twice a year.

If it was sustainable then it would have been sustained. It got disrupted because it was ripe for disruption. Too high a cost and the consumer based too low a value on it.

I don't think we've got a shortage of artists.

Subscription services prove that people are prepared to pay for things.

Most don't. The loud minority do.They're not satisfied seeing their fighters make $1 million. Gotta be five times or more. Don't know the mentality behind it.

I don't get it either.
Networks, promoters end up producing less fights.
Fans are the losers.
