So you want your fighters to get paid astronomically high, yet....

...you're unwilling to pay for subscriptions and PPVs...
Where else would they recover the investment from other than fans' pockets?

Not me. I don't scream bloody lowball when offers are made.

Some fans are worse than female groupies. Chasing after boxers because of their money

Well, there are consequences in paying these idols in gargantuan sums.
But I just don't wanna hear these fanboys complain about the
subscriptions getting more and more expensive to buy.
Go ahead, give Charlo $10 million for the Andrade fight. Make these fanboys happy.
          Let's see what happens.

when they put together a good card, I'm always willing to pay. But paying $80 for one fight + a bunch of uber driver level fighting is a bit over the edge

People used to illegally download music. The industry responded through disruption with apps like Spotify. More people paying less per person.

Who downloads albums to an iPod or burns CDs now?

People will pay if it's easier and reasonably priced. You just can't charge them huge fees for something that they can otherwise get for free with a bit of effort.

Always buy fights if you can.

They're risking their lives in that ring.

Everyone is affected. Showtime can't keep up with the rising cost of making fights, "Deal didn't make sense for us."

Fights that are normally on regular cable are now in PPVs.

The cost for PPV are just too much and the way images are shared is becoming old school. We have gone from cassette players to CD to downloading/streaming, we have gone from been stuck in one place to now watching things on the go. I personally refused to pay for PPV on TV for over 12 years now. The price is just too much IMHO.
