Berchelt has a way of dragging you into a war though. I think that's going to be the case against Valdez. Valdez tends to swing for the fences when he's hurt I can definitely see Berchelt getting clipped with something nasty too. Fight of the year type stuff.

Yup, I tend to agree with this

Counting my blessings? I’m just glad to be here today as I’m STILL suffering from the countless rabbit punches from my last outing. It’s actually good that Frampton won’t fight til May as I was dealing with massive swelling for WEEKS. So before you talk trash do some research.

It was probably a good thing for Valdez to hook up with the defensively minded team of the Reynoso's. 135 has some heavy hitters of whom Berchelt is one of them. I favor Berchelt to be honest. I don't know if Valdez has it in him to maintain his boxing game for 12 rounds without reverting to his instincts of getting into a firefight.

Oscar is most likely getting KO'd or taking a beating vs Berchelt. It's not gonna be a good night for Oscar if that fight happens. I hope more ppl think like you though so the odds make that a sexy fight to bet on Berchelt. As is I feel like Berchelt will be a -300 or better favorite & that's probably about what it should be a 75/25ish fight.

Yea I agree. And even if he can can he do it well enough to beat Berchelt? Idk & I lean towards no.

Berchelt has been an underrated 130 guy forever I feel like with Tank & Loma being there at the top. Now that he's alone at the top now I still feel like he's being underrated by many. This fight happening & him winning it will get him some bigger attention I feel like finally.

Idk man, I’ve seen Oscar fight with a broken jaw for most of a fight and win against a bigger fighter! We shall see, I’ll admit bias because I’m from Sonora so of course I will be pulling for Oscar. Both men are great fighters

Sh^t man I like Oscar myself. Hes been a fun ass guy to watch but I think that broken jaw fight was the beginning of his downslide in the game. Guys who fight like Oscar tend to burn out early. And getting dropped & being beaten til a sorta suspect stoppage vs a lighter weight inexperienced guy last time out continues to suggest to me we've seen the best Oscar was capable of. And him trending down going into what might be one of his most career defining fights isn't the way you wanna be trending.

I'm in for it whatever goes down though & its among the best fights if not the best fight to make at 130 these days so lets do it.
