Yeah, any article about Shields is like an article about Serena Williams.
It brings the racists & sexists out to spew unsubstantiated garbage.
A lot of these dudes are scumbags.Comment

It's good to expose them. That way they don't get taken seriously when they bring their agenda to other threads.Comment

Re
Like Charlo Harrison II, this is another personal one, that I cant wait to see
This all started
....with "BACK UP!!! BACK UP!!! BACK UP!!". The coach goes off on her sister
...."you better stay in a woman's place! ....I'll slap you into tomorrow!"
Unfortunately he was assaulted, when it should have been taken as nothing more than normal grumpiness from a 71 yo man...like, did Floyd go upside Larry Merchant's head, when the veteran HBO announcer told him he'd have beat him down if he was decades younger?!
That didnt stop things...Habazin claimed
....that Shields was trying to duck the fight...
Oh man...I cant wait for this....Last edited by SHO_RULEZ; 01-02-2020, 08:08 PM.Comment

There's definitely bad blood but I don't see how Habazin wins this or even stays competitive. I thought Hammer would make for a compelling fight but that was a very one-sided affair.
I rooted for Shields early in her career but I soured on her antics and hope somebody beats her. I watched the fight with Hannah Gabriels and thought for a moment it may happen when T-Rex got dropped.Comment

If she lost against Bajic, she cant be very good. Bajic looks like she just learned boxing. Very poor boxing skills.Habazin has won the IBF 147 title and the IBO 160 title, and all three of her losses were to world titlists (Braekhus, Lauren, Bajic).
She last fought in December 2018, so less than 13 months ago. Not two years.
Shields is the favorite and she should be, but Habazin is not a bum.
Looking at boxrec, Bajic only won her title by beating Habazin for a vacant title. Never defended it once and has a ton of (ko)losses on her record.Comment

Habazin's only advantage is that she should be comfortable at the weight, having won a major belt at 147 and a minor belt at 160.There's definitely bad blood but I don't see how Habazin wins this or even stays competitive. I thought Hammer would make for a compelling fight but that was a very one-sided affair.

Shields has been constantly moving down, so there may be a point where she has to drain herself to make weight and sacrifices some of her power or endurance.Comment

Bajic had a winning record at the time of the first fight. She has had a string of losses since, and Habazin got the easy W in their rematch.Comment
