Wilder has a granite chin while AJ has a glass jaw. If this fight happen, AJ will do the same thing he did against Ruiz. He won't fight toe to toe with Wilder. #3 chasing #1 & 2

What"nearly" happened is not as strong a case as what actually happened. It doesn't validate anything. There is no triangle theory that works in boxing. However based off the eye test which is all we can go on, you can only assume what's more logical.

Your post depending on a person's bias I suppose could work either way. I could in turn say Ortiz is a far superior boxer than Ruiz and it didn't make a difference in the result of 2 fights vs Wilder. Likewise I can say a less skilled fighter stopped Joshua and went 12 rounds with him in the rematch. I lean with Wilder beating Joshua since he seems to be there to get caught. And getting caught is the worst thing you can do vs Wilder. Almost no one survives after that. Even still the point is even if Joshua could beat Wilder the most likely scenario is him staying as far away from that right hand as possible and cruising to a points victory.

Why? I don't recall Wilder being stopped by anyone yet at this point nor more than 2 fighters making it to the final bell with him. So after Joshua has been on the canvas several times coupled with the fact that Wilder is the most dangerous puncher in the division, and all the previous facts I mentioned, it's unlikely anyone believes this guy will stop Wilder in 6.

You spoke about the facts. The facts are Wilder stopped Ortiz twice which ended all doubt about how close the 1st fight was. Joshua failed to do so against a guy no one considered world class. The oddsmakers generally know more than we do. And I doubt the odds back Joshua winning in 6.

AFAIK AJ isn't tied to DAZN so a deal between SKY and a US broadcaster would be the simplest solution.

BY the way, I'm from the UK so don't give a sh.t about DAZN.
You are absolutely correct. AJ is not contractually obligated to DAZN; Meaning Anthony Joshua is a network free agent. So he can fight on Fox, Showtime or the the U.S. For that matter.

However, the venue could potentially be a deal breaker. There's no way the fight can generate enough revenue in the U.K. Because it's too small. If the two wants to break box office records, it has to convene in the U.S. Particularly in Las Vegas.

They will be willing to put upwards of a $200 mil purse or more for that fight. In either at the end of 2020 or sometime in 2021.

All the idiotic comments. Your a 🍭 if you think Wilder havin a chin is an edge. He has no defense. AJ lands the same shots Ortiz did it's ✨💤🤝🖐️✌️🙏 and if you think AJ doesn't have a chin when he's been in wars with better opponents your a 🍭 and if you think AJ don't hit hard or don't consider he hits harder than Wilder then your even a bigger 🍭

Wilder def does not have a granite chin, he has looked very vulnerable when he gets checked. However, I will credit him with rarely taking a big shot, for all people say about his poor defence (which I have to admit it looks bad) but he rarely gets hit with a big shot.

Nobody goes toe to toe with Wilder and survives,. That is the best defense I ever heard of. Opening up on him is suicidal, if you can see him, he can see you, so most guys dont. The worse his rep, the less people come for him.

Hey Deontay, AJ says he can kick your ass in less than six rounds with his jab and grab strategy
