"This is a serious fight, so I ain't going to go in there to try and outbox him for 12 rounds, because of his punching power as well. I've got to go in there and take him out. Don't let him get too comfortable in the ring with me."

This is actually 100% the right approach for Joshua.

The other way to beat Wilder - is to do what Ortiz did and then when you are ahead on points : Become very cautious and run and grab. For example imagine if Tyson Fury had just run and grabbed the whole 12th round.

I find it highly amusing that most Wilder fans seem to only talk about certain fights. It seems the only Joshua fight any of them can remember is the 1st Ruiz fight. Thats all they seem to compare anything against. And at the same time they only talk about Wilder knocking Ortiz out.

Its like no other Boxer has managed to outbox or land on Wilder and Joshua gets knocked out nearly every fight.

"Mom, we don't have to worry no more" said the PBC fighter after working with Hearn......

This has nothing to do with Wilders "feelings" and everything to do with the risk to the US PPV model of having a single Undisputed heavy weight champ fighting on a subscription based app.

PPV is already on life support.
That was before Al Haymon had a platform. Now they are rivals and competitors because they both have dates and time slots to fill for their various online streaming services and television networks.

Haymon can no longer allow his fighters to fight on DAZN for fear of losing them. Which is why he is blocking Deontay Wilder, Luis Ortiz, the Charlos, Tank Davis and others from fighting on DAZN.

He needs those fighters for his own platforms.

The man talking big now, but after Feb. 22 he'll be harder to find than Jimmy Hoffa.

Why? Who will be coming looking for him? Wilder lol? Wilder has run from AJ for 2 years. I WILL NEVER FIGHT ANTHONY JOSHUA. Only said that the other week.

I see you keep saying that. Is AJ v Ruiz 2 the only Joshua fight you have ever seen? Not that it matters anyway as Wilder will just keep ducking that fight if he survives against Fury.

Try getting him to do it then instead of ducking. Joshua is easy work apparently yet Wilder keeps turning this easy work down.
